Very clean with breakfast included. Staff help when needed but not that warm. 5 minute walk to Rome Termini station but half an hour walk to main attractions. Comfortable and friendly people - great restaurant just next door. Termini area not the friendliest place to be alone at night.

We booked this hostel through Booking.com which went smoothly and communication from them was good. I wanted a backpacking experience with my girls aged 15 and 12yrs so requested a dorm room which we got. We took a taxi from the airport to the hostel as we were arriving late. Out in the street you'll find huge doors which are... More

I recommend to arrive to the hostel during morning or early afternoon because the place you have to do check-in is in a solitary street. Also it surprised me that the hostel is really a big flat where there is a kitchen you can use (it has all the utensils to cook any meal) and there is 3 or 4... More

We booked a private twin room via Legends Hostel (we were not aware that in fact they would accommodate us in Residenza Giustiniani, which is just around the corner). For the price we paid, we were absolutely satisfied. The rooms are fully equipped (including TV, fridge, air conditioning, hairdryer) and cleaned every day (there is one minus, though - they... Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
