Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location was great and loved to be able to walk out and be in the tourist mix. There were like 10 churches without 3 blocks. The staff were great, everyone was helpful. The room was spacious and had three separate beds and a bathroom that was placed for privacy. Overall the room was a little dated. The rooftop was cool. The breakfast was okay.

Hotel's Favourite
Excellent hotel in centre of Rome. Service from the minute you walk in the door is second to none. The check in staff continuously entertained my daughter over the stay and made her feel like a princess. Stayed in the Suite Seminario and it is one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. The frescoes on the ceiling make you feel like you are staying in a palace. The location right in front of the Pantheon can’t be beaten and is in the centre of all Roman sites.

The Albergo del Senato is a wonderful hotel for a short visit to Rome! It is centrally located to all attractions, but mainly the Pantheon is litterally at its doorstep! We have a full view of the plaza and the Pantheon front columns from our bedroom window (first floor, room 102). The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. They provided sleepers and bathrobes which gave extra comfort. The windows provided high acustic isolataion from the bustling plaza below, although some noise was invevitable, given the location. Breakfast was abundant and diverse, very nicely served. A highly reccomendable hotel in the center of the old city of Rome!

Central hotel just beside Pantheon, close to a number of attractions. Decor a little dated but clean and tidy, we stayed 3 nights. Great breakfast, we had an early start one morning and staff provided breakfast packs night before which was welcome, fridge in room to keep fresh. Little bit of a smell in bathroom which was large but ok when door closed. Lots of activity in piazza outside which might affect sleep if you’re not a night owl!

Just returned from my second three night stay. A wonderful Hotel, overlooking The Pantheon. All areas are meticulously clean. Staff are friendly, engaging & approachable. Breakfast was of a high standard & with lots of options. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. All of the main tourist attractions are only a short walk away. I hope to return in the future.

Very nice hotel with professional staff and very clean rooms. Breakfast was nice with options for everyone. Within walking distance of many sites. Only complaint is being so close to Pantheon meant alot of residual noise late into the night entering our room. We left music playing to drown out the outside noise. Other than that was a very nice stay. There also is a nice rooftop patio area that has amazing views of the city.

Just returned from a wonderful week long stay at this hotel. We were fortunate enough to have a superior double with a balcony overlooking the Pantheon. Everyone who works here are extremely nice and helpful. The daily breakfast has plenty to choose from and I am now addicted to a morning cappuccino !! Highly recommended this hotel.

Excellent hotel, great view at the Pantheon. Fine rooms, superb atmosphere. Lots of marble, classic design. Nice, well equipped rooms. Ultra friendly and helpful staff. Great bar, with veteran bartender Michele as the secret asset of this hotel. Great guy, highly skilled bartender. Prices are reasonable. Although there are some cheaper options around, they won't offer the same quality and atmosphere as this fine, almost boutique-like, hotel.

Alongside central Rome's 1900 yr old Pantheon, the Albergo del Senato does not rest on its location alone. The staff is friendly, upbeat and eager to help. Bedrooms and public spaces are kept extremely clean and tidy. The American-style breakfasts are fantastic. Our bedroom and bathroom were spacious and quite comfortable with a remarkable view and -- most surprisingly -- quiet. We already are making plans to return.

Our fifth stay in this beautiful hotel overlooking the Pantheon. Perfect location with friendly staff who always give a warm welcome. They will arrange taxis & give restaurant recommendations. We always feel at home here & are treated as valued friends. You are in the heart of the historic centre & all the major sights are in walking distance. Highly recommended.
