The host Paola gave us a lot of information and recommendations for Rome. This helped us a lot to experience Rome in just 2 days. The room was spacious and the bed very good. The wifi signal was a bit weak in our room, but we could deal with it for the little time we used it. The location is...

A fantastic hoast and not much i would change about this B&B as very clean and spacious. The addition of a kettle in the room would be nice but i would stay there again and recommend to any of my friends.

This small (2 rooms) B&B is run by a lady called Paula who helped us make the most of our 4-day stay. Her enthusiasm for Rome and its attractions is infectious and her advice sound, both on the sights and on suitable places to eat. (She took us round to an excellent one on our arrival, arranging a discount for...

Paola was one of the friendliest host I've met, she was helpful in recommending us restaurants and giving us tips for our stay in Rome, couldn't have been better! As for the location, it is right opposite the termini, which makes it convenient to get around the city. The room although basic was clean and served us well during our...

We stayed at Paola's B&B for 3 nights. She's an amazing host, as many have said it in previous reviews. The room and the bathroom are clean. Not enough pillows for my taste but this is just a minor issue!! The walls seemed a bit thin as we could hear the tv from the other room. Even though it is...

This B and B is perfectly located right opposite the main railway station. The room itself is very clean and comfortable. The best part though was meeting Paola. She is one of the friendliest and nicest people I have met. She is extremely helpful and, as my partner celebrated his birthday while we were there, she even left a gift,...

We have just returned from a three stay stay at the B&B Railway 24 and cannot recommend it highly enough. The owner, Paula, is just the most wonderful woman - she is so helpful, kind and informative. She was so conscious to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Given the price, especially in Rome, this place...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
