When Americans come to Rome many think they will get the normal, USA type hotel room -- large and spacious. In most cases, that's not what you will find, especially in the older areas of The Eternal City. Hotel rooms are much smaller with the idea that it's there for you to sleep in and get cleaned up in, not...

The hotel room was dirty, with various broken appliances and missing furniture (you could see the lines on the wallpaper where bedside tables once stood). The bathroom was very nice, hot water worked well. The location is fantastic for walking to the Vatican and Castel San'Angel. We were also left a very nice welcome package of champagne and chocolates on...

It's close to the Vatican, and fairly easy to find your way back to, as it is just off the street that leads directly to the Piazza del Popolo (although it is a longish walk). It's also about 4 blocks from a metro station. If you decide to take the train in from the airport, I'd suggest taking the subway...

Lots of restaurants near by and nearby is a metro station. Free wifi, breakfast, and can arange suttle service to the airport. Staff was friendly. We were pleasently surprised and would stay there again.

We stayed 3 nights in this place. The room was large with a nice modern bathroom. Water pressure and shower was very good. The rooms have been renovated to a modern finish. Furniture is basic but practical and aesthetically pleasing. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a safe is available in the wardrobe. This was a good value...

We stayed at Infinity hotel for 4 nights to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We booked it very last minute and went by the reviews on trip advisor. I emailed the hotel to let them know it was our wedding anniversary, in our room when we arrived was a small bottled of Prosecco, plastic flute glasses and chocolates on the...

Dear wallacehayley, we are sorry that you did not like our mattresses. All of them are hypoallergenic and comfortable... reflecting the standard. Unfortunately it can happen that a customer prefers a strong mattress or soft conversely ... we unfortunately can not change them every day according to the needs of all our special guests. Kind regards from all the Staff

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's good value for money, we liked the location close to the Vatican. It's a three star hotel so obviously you can't expect the same as you would from a 'better' hotel but we thought it was really good. It can be tricky to find as it's a bit of a hole in...

My husband and I were doing a European trip for our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stays at the other hotels throughout Europe. So this was a major disappointment since Rome was our last stop for our honeymoon. You have to ring in order to be let into the hotel which was fine but it raised alarms putting the overall...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
