Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a delightful boutique hotel. I first discovered this place a decade ago, and have stayed several times. Every room I’ve chosen (small single to suite) has been spotless, well appointed, with a great comfortable bed. Breakfast is way beyond what I’ve come to expect in Italy - in addition to the usual caffè e cornetto, fresh fruit, baked goods, and eggs -eggs! with an assortment of juices and great cappuccino. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional, at the front desk, in the breakfast room, housekeeping and maintenance, always with a smile. The location (right between the Pantheon and Piazza Navona) is outstanding. And I know it’s a little thing, but I really appreciate the elevator, too.

Rooms are very small just be aware. However that being said you have everything you need! Mini fridge, nice sized shower, close proximity to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Literally steps. We walked to the Vatican and the colosseum from here. So many delicious restaurants in this area. Great shopping as well. Hotel Staff is so nice and accommodating. This is a great cozy location to explore Rome!! We would book again!

We are 2 couples who spent 3 nights at Hotel Navona on October. We reserved 2 superior double rooms including breakfast, online directly through the hotel. We arrived at 11:00 am, way before check in time. Nevertheless, we were told we could have our rooms as soon as they are ready, which was within an hour. Throughout our stay, the reception and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful, and worked very hard to insure a pleasant stay. Michel gave us 2 restaurant recommendations which were spot on. Angelo was constantly calling taxis for guests and carrying bags up to the rooms. He gladly helped me with a tech issue I had when trying to check in for our flight and gave us shopping area recommendations. The breakfast room is small, but big enough. The food buffet was good and hot beverages were served. The rooms, 311 and 314, were clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The lighting and bathroom fixtures were good and up-to-date. There were 2 complimentary bottles of water in the mini fridge and an electric kettle to make tea or instant coffee. I’d offer a few minor suggestions for improvement. Our room had bedside lamps, our friends’ room didn’t. We thought this should be consistent from room to room. It would be great if the rather expansive empty wall opposite the bed could be utilized, maybe with a few hooks or another table. While we were able to request more water, tea, coffee or clean cups, this was not automatically replenished everyday. Be aware there are no tissues or facecloth provided, but I believe this is normal in Italy. Overall, we were very comfortable and happy to recommend Hotel Navona for its staff and close location to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and hundreds of restaurants.

This hotel has the kindest staff of young people you could imagine. They greet you with smiles , ask if you need anything and make you feel at ease in their hotel. That never stopped the whole time we were there. From taxi reservations or just helpful info as to Rome and we’re to find things. Europe by nature has small rooms. This was no exception , you adjust. If you bring lots of suitcases may not be your hotel. As we didn’t spend much time in the room it was ok. Breakfast was good nothing fancy but always on time and plenty of it , again the staff was excellent. Location right in the thick of it so don’t bring a car it wouldn’t fit . All n all I would say this hotel would appeal to the young instead of a hostile. We enjoyed the stay and thank the staff for a excellent job.

Excellent location! Very pleasant staff. Good air conditioning which trust me, you need in Rome especially in the summer. You can hear some noise from outside but it’s ok… it didn’t last a long time. I didn’t hear it when we went to sleep. Clean rooms

Stayed here for 3 nights, in the family room. King size bed, sofa bed and a z bed which was comfortable enough for my petite 11 year old. Beds have memory foam mattresses and firm pillows. Air con maintained the room to a nice temperature. Shower was powerful, pleasant toiletries provided. Great location for exploring. We didn’t pay for breakfast- it looked mediocre, instead we walked 2 minutes around the corner to Gingers and had fantastic breakfast. We were in room 202 and the only disadvantage is staff start setting up for breakfast around 06.45 which is very loud and disturbed me every morning.

For a reasonable stay in Rome in a great location, Hotel Navona is an excellent choice. Front desk was very nice and helpful in providing transport to and from airport, and called us a cab every time we needed one. This hotel is nothing fancy. The entrance is off the side of an alley through a courtyard. Lobby is on second floor. Hallways are kind of a maze. But the rooms were nice and clean, not too small, comfy beds and pillows, excellent water temp and pressure, towel heating bars in the bathroom. My husband and I had one room, and my teenage girls had another. Even though it's "Hotel Navona" it's not directly on the Piazza Navona, so it's quiet.

We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Navona precruise. This hotel is lovely and so centrally located -just a few minutes walk from many of the sights in Rome. The Piazza Navona is literally a block away. This boutique hotel is in a historic building and, as others have noted, checkin is on the 2nd floor. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The bed very comfortable. Our group had a triple and a junior suite and were impressed with the size of the rooms. Front desk staff were pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast was ample-more than just a continental-and very tasty. If your room faces the front, there is street noise at night from the local cafe/bar but ear plugs took care of that- the junior suite faced the courtyard so no noise. We so much enjoyed our stay that we have another planned for next year.
