Cost friendly and convenient hotel near Rome airport. Easy to find with a large parking space. Staff is friendly and the room was clean.
Not a lot of amenities but clean and the bed was very comfortable.
A good alternative if you have an early flight and you want to stay close to the airport in a clean affordable hotel close to the airport

Dear chefhaselsberger, Thank you for your very nice review. We are glad to learn that you had a pleasant stay with us and that our staff made you feel like you were at home. Regarding the amenities, we follow a special program called "Forgot something?" . If a guest needs something he has forgotten like a comb, a toothpaste or a razor for example, we will be more than pleased to bring them upon request. All our staff is at your disposal to give you assistance and to make your stay stress-free as possible - you are our guest and we want you to have the best possible experience. Hope to welcome you back very soon again. With kind regards Roberta S. Assistant to the General Manager & Guest Relations Manager

We spent a night here, prior to an early morning flight.

The hotel is located a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport (flat rate at 31 Euros).

We checked in at 22:45. Check in was quick and courteous and we immediately received the 500 IHG bonus points as Platinum members.

We were allocated room 303, which was big enough, smelled of mold/cigarette smell, featured 2 beds, a night stand, a minibar, a table and coffee table, 3 chairs and a view to the swimming pool.
There was no safe in the room.
As the “non-smoking” room was reeking, we had to keep the window open until we went to sleep (it was too noisy to sleep with the window open).

The small bathroom featured a tub with a good water pressure, a toilet, bidet and sink.
The bathroom amenities were a mixture of Aroma and Dermomed.

Bottom line – this is an OK Holiday Inn 3-star hotel, which is only suitable for a quick night sleep prior to an early flight, as its location is irrelevant for Rome tourists.

Dear TheShis, Thank you for sharing your experience during your recent stay in our hotel. We thank you for your comments but we are a little bit surprised to learn about your dissatisfaction on the room quality and the facilities. Our hotel is set up for business meetings and congresses able to host up to 600 people. It is a 4 stars hotel and has all the benefits that an hotel of this category can offers. We have 318 rooms and it often happens to accommodate touristic groups visiting Rome for leisure. Our rooms are modern in their furniture and disposition. We do apologize if they did not meet your requirements. If you were looking for a site in the centre of Rome with shops and restaurants open until late in the evening, this is not the place. Our location is clearly and fully stated on our and any other reservation websites. We heartily recommend our guests to read it carefully to avoid unpleasant surprises. Regarding the transportation, the hotel bus runs on a regular basis during the day but you need to reserve your seat 24 hrs before. With the shuttle you can reach the nearest metro station and in 20 minutes discover all the main attractions in the heart of Rome (the ticket for Metro is included in the bus fare). Otherwise, there is a public bus which is available just at the exit of the hotel to reach downtown which is only 12 km far from our Hotel and the taxes station available 24/7H We hope this experience will not deter you from staying with us and we hope your next stay with us exceeds your expectations. Once again, thank you for taking the time to write your experience. We hope to welcome you back in the future and that you experience 100% satisfaction. With kind regards Roberta Assistant to the GM & Guest Relations Manager

We stayed here for 3 nights in June 2022. The location is great as out of the city but there is a train station a short walk away which gets you to everywhere you need to be - you can buy tickets at the hotel for 1.20 EUR.

The hotel was clean and breakfast was good, something for everyone. The coffee machines at breakfast were poor considering you are in Italy, the home of coffee.

The rooms are not soundproof, you can hear next door and this kept us up on the first night. There is also no fridge in the room and you only get free water on the first night.

The bar is expensive, I paid 4 EUR for a Fanta which was madness and there are not convenience shops nearby but there are some vending machines on each floor.

Pool was great and the life guards are friendly, my son enjoyed the pool and it was the perfect temperature for a 33 degree day in Rome. They also provide you with towels.

Shout out to Lorena who on reception who was excellent.

Dear mfsx7nm3, Thank you for your nice review. We do appreciate your comments on the services received, in particular our breakfast and the cleaning of the hotel. Thank you also for your suggestions. The coffee machines at the breakfast do not pouring our usual "espresso" but if you asked for it to one of our colleagues in a moment you would have been served. Customer care is our primary objective, we choose our team members carefully with this in mind, we want all our guests to have the best possible stay whilst with us and believe that having the right team is of paramount importance. Our prices at the bar are those applied in other hotels of the same category and in any case as already advised we have installed vending machines on the guest floors with drinks and snacks available 24 hrs. Thank you for the compliments towards our life guards and Lorena at the reception. We do appreciate them. Your feedback is of great importance to us and allows us to monitor and improve our service continually. Thank you again for your contribution. Hope to welcome you back again very soon. We went to Rome in route to a cruise for a girls trip. We stayed at this hotel because it was not far from the airport and they had shuttle service on the arrival but on the departure you had to pay $10 euros per person. They had a restaurant on site and the staff was friendly. There is also a pool for guest to use. We were located in a good neighborhood not far for scenery. There was also a local train across the street from the hotel the hotel sold tickets for the rides. They also gave us a map for local dining and shopping which was a plus.

This was advertised on loveholidays and the location was terrible, surrounded by a business park & motorway, no footpaths to walk anywhere and no where to eat but the hotel and the prices where absolutely extortionate. The pool had no water in it and the ice cream parlours unmanned, felt like north korea! we wasn’t told if we drank any water out of our hotel room fridge we would be charged at the end along with city tax which they failed to mention. apparently it’s “a well know thing”. Rude reception with an attitude problem. unless your here on business i would not recommend this to any couples or families unless you like wasting money. The cleaners also used my wife’s perfume as it was the only thing moved in the bathroom when we got back.

Dear Anthony111555, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are pleased that you liked our hotel but extremely concerned about your comment on some of the services. Our hotel is set up for business meetings and congresses able to host up to 600 people. It is a 4 stars hotel and has all the benefits that an hotel of this category can offers. If you were looking for a site in the centre of Rome with shops and restaurants open until late in the evening, this is not the place. Our hotel stands in an area surrounded by green very close to the "Tenuta dei Massimi," a 'protected oasis, full of tranquility away from the chaos of the city. We have a large park, outdoor swimming pool and a smaller one for children and a parking lot. All these services would not be available if the hotel was located in the heart of the city. Our location is clearly and fully stated on our and any other reservation websites. We heartily recommend our guests to read it carefully to avoid unpleasant surprises. The city taxes are mentioned when making a booking. As for the staff, we carefully pick each of our team members based on their friendliness, helpfulness and general customer care skills, as a result we often receive outstanding feedback - it really is our primary objective. We will share your comments with all the hotel staff to improve the service. Thank you again for your contribution. With kind regards Roberta S. The staff were very friendly. They were working hard under difficult circumstances.
A lot of attention was paid to maintain social distancing. In all public departments the floors were clearly marked to show the direction to enter and leave. Plenty of hand washing with liquids were available.

Just back from a nice stay here.

+ It's very handy for the train station to travel into Rome. The staff were lovely. The food good. The rooms and shared areas were great and everything worked! Super handy for the airport if you have a middle of the night return flight like we did. Loved the great spread of nationalities staying here.

- The walls are paper thin, especially where there are locked adjoining rooms - I had to (nicely) ask two sets of people if they could keep it down so we could sleep. The restaurant manager needs to take himself less seriously and be nicer to his staff. It should be clear that children do not eat free with all main courses, just the more expensive ones. There needs to be more sun beds around the pool to stop guest tensions when it is very hot.

Love the pool area, wading pool, swimming pool, picnic area, etc.
Restaurant was expensive, but very good.
Location was good- half way between the airport and the city; about 15 minutes from either. Train station is only a 5-minute walk for easy city access.
Hotels closer to the airport were incredibly busy during our stay…the Holiday Inn was worth the extra taxi drive for the quicker check-in and less crowded, peaceful location.

Dear yuyatdi, Thank you for your review and for the nice description of the rooms. Regarding the location, the hotel has a regular shuttle bus greatly appreciated from all our guests. The bus runs on a regular basis to get you to the nearest subway station and to the international airport. Moreover a public bus is available just at the doorstep of the hotel to reach downtown which is only 15 km far from our hotel and reach also metro station and in 20 minutes discover all the main attractions in the heart of Rome. In addition to this, taxi are always readily available upon request in maximum 2 minutes waiting. The hotel is a sub-urban building featuring facilities that of course you won’t be able to find in a more central location such as gardens, 20m length swimming pool, pool bar, large comfortable bedrooms and extensive parking facilities. Our location is clearly and fully stated on our and any other reservation websites. We heartily recommend our guests to read it carefully to avoid unpleasant surprises. The hotel reception was good, i had to change rooms due to the room next door being very loud (the walls seem quite thin!), but that was no problem and reception sorted this out. The driver recommended by hotel for airport pick up was also excellent, and a lovely guy. But the service in the restaurant was awful. Was travelling with business colleagues and when we asked for separate bills we got a bill split 50:50 when we spent quite different amounts. When we asked for the bill to be split by what we had each purchased we were told this was not possible and we should have been clearer. Also the bill did not have our food on it, as the electronic till was apparently broken so they had added all sorts of random items to the bill and just told us this was the correct amount. The server actually shouted at us and was very rude and told us we were making life very difficult for them if they had to issue another bill. It was a horrible end to a busy work day when we just wanted a simple meal and separate bills. We held our ground, even though the server kept berating us, and they eventually went away and came back 20-30 mins later with new bills, and guess what they had overcharged us on the first bill, so we would have been over charged about 20 euro each. I expect so much better from a holiday Inn. The food items listed were still incorrect, but the price seemed more in line with what we expected so we just paid and left as we had to e up early and working again the next day. Apart from this the hotel is good for business, but being treated this way in the restaurant, when trying to have a quick supper before bed, just left a very bad impression of the hotel overall.
