We stayed at the morgana last week and can honestly say it was fantastic! Just 2 minutes from Termini, fantastic location! Staff could not do enough for you and the hotel itself was very clean! Rooms were comfortable and had a great choice of food for breakfast! Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody staying in Rome!

Just returned from a three night stay at the hotel which we found to be very comfortable. kindly the hotel upgraded our room which meant we had a small fridge. The breakfast was beautifully presented and the staff were warm and friendly, especially when they presented my boyfriend with a small bottle of Prosecco and gorgeous gooey chocolate cake as...

Great location for the train in from the airport. The staff are fantastic, friendly knowledgeable and always there to help. Hotel rooms clean, tidy and comfortable. The only thing was the noise from the courtyard as we were facing it. Also the road behind next to the station not the best.. care required. But a top hotel close to many...

A great hotel in a perfect location....the hotel itself was clean and comfy...the staff were very helpful and polite...the location is great a 15 minute walk from the Colosseum...some lovely little restaurants very close by...take a cushioned pair of walking shoes (trainers)...walking on those cobbles can be painful if wearing the wrong shoes (I learnt the hard way!!)

There are pros cons with everything, I have to agree with what I have read on this site from travellers who seem to have spent the last few days also at the Morgana. So the cons: if you have a room in the front you hear the noise from the bin men as well as other vehicles, yet at the...

Stayed here for two nights on a short break to Rome. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the main railway station ( Termini) and in a good position to walk to all the main attractions in the centre of Rome. The buffet breakfast is extensive and you are offered as much coffee and cappuccino as you can drink!...

Stayed here for 2 nights on a city break. It's just a couple of minutes' walk from Roma Termini station (ideal for catching the train to/from the airport). The room was very comfortable and well-equipped, while the bathroom and shower were spotless. The reception staff were very helpful, even allowing us into our room two hours before the official check-in...

The hotel was in a great location, close to Termini station. The room was small but we only slept in there so was perfect for what we needed. It was spotless and had everything we needed. Best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. I would recommend to...

Hotel Morgana is a fine choice when staying in Rome, and I would stay there again. It is an easy five minute walk to Termini station. We arrived after midnight on the Metro yet we felt safe walking to the hotel and received a warm welcome when we arrived. Our fifth floor room fronted onto the main street yet we...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
