Neighbourhood
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Dear Carmen C, We read with great interest your detailed review and we are honored by your recognition: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. We especially appreciated your comment about the bathroom amenities and the non-ordinary delicatessen available at the buffet breakfast. It is our hope that you will plan soon another visit and you will consider the St. Regis as your private Residence in Rome. Indeed, the city can be pretty busy and the refined atmosphere of our hotel is the right balance! With warm regards from all the staff, Giuseppe De Martino General Manager

This is a good hotel. Very grand and old style whilst still feeling clean and modern. Staff were great. Late checkout offered on arrival. Breakfast was ok, not huge range but lots of healthy options. We would stay again.

When we stayed in April it was not yet complete. That said not once did it detract from our exceptional experience. I would connect via email with the General Manager to make certain you are in good shape. Enjoy
