We 'be been to Rome many times and the last 3 years we book in Albergo Césari for 3 main reasons : the friendly and competent staff and the choice you have for breakfast and the convenient location. Yes the rooms are a bit outdated and the shower could be renewed but the rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel...

Let me start by saying I would absolutely stay here again. The gentlemen on the front desk are entirely friendly and beyond helpful in all ways. The location is spectacular for exploring all Rome has to offer and the rooms were decent size with all the essentials you'd need. Spent 3 nights here and wouldn't change a thing (although expect...

Perfect location and nice staff but the room smelled like a sewer and there was mold in the bathroom. The shower was crappy. We couldn't lock our door from the inside so the door was unlocked during the night(!!) Because of the bad smell we had to open the window day and night. But because of the central location I...

Dear Femke B, We are very sorry to receive such bad complain about your room at Albergo Cesari. We did not aspect that because if there is someting wrong with the rooms, usually people convey their problems straight away and our policy is to try to solve the problems (changing rooms same day of the check-in or, whenever it is...

We stayed in Albergo Cesari between 10 - 13 dec'16. The property is located in a very good location at a walking distance from almost all the major attractions, restaurants and markets. If you want you could walk up to Vatican City as well which is around 3 kms from the property. Although the rooms were small they were very...

This was my third time staying at the Albergo Cesari. It's in the perfect location midway between the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Lots of good restaurants in the area. The hotel itself is lovely, We stayed in a classic room (#29) which is large with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast is great, you can eat outside on the rooftop...

We were a party of 7 in three rooms for one night before a RC Harmony of the Seas cruise to Barcelona and trans Atlantic to Ft. Lauderdale. We were delighted with our stay. One couple arrived early after two weeks in Europe and needed laundry facilities. The front desk called a cab, wrote the name/address of someplace to wash/dry...

I really have to wonder where some of the other (negative) reviewers have stayed in their European travels. I thought the price was very reasonable, for a place built in 1787? it was in fine condition, and our spacious room had, for old Europe, a very decent sized bathroom. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace was...

We absolutely loved that we booked this hotel without any prior knowledge of Rome! First of all, Tomasso at the front desk is phenomenal and a living book of knowledge about a city he loves! We were able to walk to the right about 8 minutes to Trevi fountain, then 12 minutes to the Spanish Steps. If you turn left...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
