My main concern is the really REALLY hard beds, like my back still hurts... there's also thin walls and the fact that you must leave your key every time you leave... other than that it's clean and decently located, you get what you paid for

Paid more for what you got...was not happy at all. Hotel staff were some what rude. Room was extremely out of date and bathroom was not clean - had to wear thongs in the shower and every time we showered we flooded the bathroom cause of the position of the shower and the shower curtain. Pillows were terrible and pillows...

This was our first time in Rome and it was recommended to us due to its location and affordability. The location is perfect as it is a 2 minute walk to Termini station, which has trains that connect to the airport, and also plenty of hop on, hop off buses have a stop there. The actual location of the hotel...

Pretty average as a hotel, bathrooms are nice, bed isn't super comfy but if you have an 'a room is a room' attitude it's perfect, gives you a bed to sleep on and a roof over your head whilst being very very close to Roma Termini Station - which means it's great for day trips, close to shopping and close...

A well positioned hotel close to Termini Railway Station. My reason for staying here was so that I was close to the station arriving from Tuscany on the Frecciarossa and leaving on the Leonardo Express to Fiumicino Airport. I have mixed feelings about this place. It’s position, price, breakfast and staff are all fine. It was the location of my...

Staff was not that courteous, no smiles, hardly a welcome and sort of threw the key across the table to my husband. Room was ok, but too warm, the air conditioning didn't work. The bathroom is spacious, and good. No kettle, no fridge. Breakfast was the worst part of this hotel. Hardly anything good to go by, very basic. They...

We stayed in Hotel Kennedy twice over the past 5 weeks and found it to be a pleasant hotel with extremely helpful staff. We stayed on the 5th floor which was quiet and quite like home. Would have liked a jug in the room, but as the breakfast was adequate then not too necessary. The room size ok and the...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
