Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loved this boutique hotel- quite beautiful and well appointed. Beautiful views, very small room-not bad for the one night we weee there-would definitely want a larger room if staying longer. Staff extremely accommodating and attentive. Customer Service was amazing!!! Breakfast was fantastic!

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed in mid July. By far the best hotel and best service we received in Italy! (We stayed at 4 places over the course of 16 days.). The staff called it “the Barocco way.” I call it superb! Friendly, helpful, guest-focused staff. The junior suite with suzano/plunge pool is out of this world! Amazing! Breakfast was delicious. The room and public areas were so clean and inviting. The neighborhood is excellent-Piazza Barberini! Near the Spanish steps. You do not need to look further. This is the place to stay in Rome!

My wife and I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel, it is superb The rooms are beautiful, the staff are so accommodating, and the breakfasts are the best we have had in Europe. Stefano does an amazing job of controlling the breakfast sittings and kept us entertained. The hotel is very central in a lovely area, will definitely be back.

Hotel Barocco is an absolute gem! The hotel staff was extremely helpful at each point in our trip to Rome - from arranging a car transfer from the airport prior to our arrival, to the front desk welcome, to the daily breakfasts. The staff truly makes this hotel special. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and has a great location - most major sights (Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps) are walkable. Our family of four shared a junior suite and it was the perfect destination for us in Rome - we will be back.

Wonderful stay. Great location. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Everything was a close walk. Even at night I felt safe. The room was better than expected. A Jr. Suite that was huge and had a huge bath tub.

This hotel is fabulous. The Staff were so welcoming - offering us coffee whilst we waited for our rooms to be ready. Our luggage was taken to our room by a lovely young man. All the Staff were immaculately dressed and so friendly at all times. The breakfast was to die for. If I could I would give this hotel 10 stars and would recommend it to anyone.

My stay was totally amazing. The hotel staff was very accommodating, organized, and made me feel like I was at home. They even had a birthday surprise for me during my stay. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The hotel is also in a great location and everything I needed was a few steps away. It is also close to many attractions! Thank you for everything! - Ayala :)

It is a nice boutique hotel with excellent friendly and helpful staff. Very close to the metro, taxi and bus station. The check in and checkout was fast. The superior room was clean, had enough space, nicely decorated and quiet but the window of the room had an inner side view; the bathroom and the room smelled of mold and sewage that was not good. Wi-Fi and light in the room were good. The queen size bed was comfortable, but it may not fit well for the tall ones. The hotel only serves breakfast; it was not buffet and should be ordered from the menu; It was delicious with nice presentation (both hot and cold options were available). Room service was excellent; We asked for electric kettle and received a full tea service package that was remarkable. The AC was working fine. The hotel has a lift.
