Rooms are quite outdated and quite small. Breakfast buffet has a good variety of pastries. location is very convenient for both walking and taking hop-on-hot-off bus. check out villa medici, the view is quite breathtaken.

We recently stayed three nights in Rome at the Hotel Imperiale. I would say better than average. Hotel Lobby was spacious but the rooms were small for two people. Breakfast was also a bit disappointing....probably the worst coffee we have had anywhere. Location however was very good. Street, Vittorio Venuto, was in a great location afew blocks from Spanish Steps,...

Don't expect to find a luxury hotel. Location is perfect for a tourist , fair distance to all major attractions. Personnel is very friendly and polite. The hotel himself is very old and is necessary immediately refurbishing. Clean rooms, old furniture. The breakfast is fair enough . Don't expect something special. The best thing is the restaurant in front, where...

This hotel was recommended by my cousin who has traveled to Italy often. She was so correct in the location of the hotel being located in a perfect place! We were able to either walk to take the metro to anywhere in the city. The rooms were meticulous, the staff helpful and friendly and the breakfast (included in the price)...

Located in Via Veneto, Hotel Imperiale is within a walking distance from Fontana di Trevi and other landmarks in Rome. Very convenient located near public transportation. The rooms were clean, new, but too small. I had a room at the end of a very long corridor too distant from elevator. The staff was very pleasant. Good breakfast with horrible coffee....

Enjoyed my stay here very much. The hotel is VERY nice. Modern looking rooms and facilities. VERY nice dining room and quite a nice continental breakfast in the AM. The staff was great especially Maiko (she's a SWEETIE!!). Plus, the metro stop is about 50 feet from the door. VERY convenient for getting around Rome. It's walking distance to restaurants...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
