Excellent location, clean and tidy room, gentle stuff in an excellent location right in the heart of Rione Monti within one of the cuttest streets leading straight to Santa Maria di Maggiore. Extra points for the unexpected good breakfast. Will def return here

You can visit Rome by foot from this hotel, it is quite well centered. It's very close to the train station, that's very convenient when you fly to Rome and take the train. Our room windows were on the street and on the Friday night, it was very loud: there are several restaurants and bars in the street. The next... More

We spent wonderful 5 nights there. The hotel is close to the Termini station, but several sightseeing targets are in walking distance. The room was cozy and comfortable, and for breakfast we could choose from a wide range buffet. Well worth the price and we hope we can return soon. ;)

The bathroom was of satisfactory size considering, so no problems there. The breakfast is adequate. It has a bit of everything. The wifi works everywhere except the breakfast area. Don't accept a room towards front of hotel: Noisy bar just in front of hotel, people talking/screaming "all over the night". All other aspects are secondary. Old but sufficient/effectual inventory. Well located hotel for sightseeing: Colosseum and several churches in walking distance. Metro access at Vittorio Emmanuele just a few minutes to walk, as well as for central train station.... More

Lovely quiet little hotel. Staff were very friendly. The best thing has to be its brilliant location!! The station to the airport is only a 5 minute walk which was very handy. Excelent centric hotel located 5 block away from "Roma Termini", around the corner from "Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, and 7 blocks from "Colosseo" great eats across the street at reasonable prices. Hotel Tirreno has a beautiful garden and a very good BREAKFAST room, rooms are small but 3rd floor rooms have patios.
