Located in the city of Rome. Few minutes away from Trevi fountain, Pantheon. Colosseum, Shopping district and churches. Breakast is great. Staff are charming, accommodating and friendly. There were minor lapses in the housekeeping but showed sincerest apology, thanks for the basket of fruits with a card. It could have been a perfect score if we were accommodated for a spa service as a hotel guest. A plus factor, mini bar is free and supplies are replenished daily. Still highly recommended

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel was stellar. It hit on all points: service, location, restaurant, art gallery but best of all BREAKFAST! Holy moly, I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced a hotel breakfast like that. The drinks and snacks in the room were super nice as well. The street noise is a bit much but I suspect that’s true anywhere in the city. The sirens never seem to stop in Rome. So glad we stayed here, it was a great experience.

The Hotel Artemide and its staff are a credit to the beautiful city of Rome. I have no issues recommending the Artemide based on a weekend stay. The hotel staff were so very welcoming - they genuinely seemed to care that our stay was remarkable, and were prepared to go out of their way to help us fall in love with Roma (and the Artemide). Our children contacted the hotel and paid for a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates, which greeted us in the room - along with two swans, crafted out of hand towels. A nice touch. Noting the gift was for our 25th wedding anniversary, the hotel staff made a kind, generous gesture of upgrading us to a more expensive room complete with its own free mini bar. What a lovely gesture. Before seeing the room, we paid a visit to the hotel’s rooftop terrace restaurant and bar (guided by the complementary glass of Prosecco) and the views are a must. We were greeted by Eugenio, who made us feel at ease and we found ourselves relaxing and getting into the spirit of Rome under the guidance of a native. What a lovely setting. Put it on your to do list. We booked for dinner at the rooftop terrace (Ambrosia) and the food was fresh, innovative and simply delicious. Returning to the room, the bed and pillows are as good as they get away from home. If you don’t like them, the mattress or pillows, however, the hotel claim they’ll change them. Do you know what, I believe they would. But we didn’t need to, because they were heavenly comfortable. This brings me to breakfast: I will NOT be able to do the breakfast justice - just imagine an emporium of deliciousness and attentive service with more choice than you can wrangle with and that’s breakfast at the Artemide. Superb. Are they flexible? Yes. We booked dinner for the Sunday evening; however, we got caught up and delayed under the spell of Rome and emailed the hotel saying we were sorry but wouldn’t make the booking, because we were out and about in the spellbounding Rome. We received a lovely email back saying that they didn’t blame us and seemed genuinely bothered about us squeezing every inch out of our time in Rome. How refreshing. When we returned back to our room, the hotel staff had put chocolates in our room with a card, saying: ‘just a sweet thought to end your day.’ We will put the Artemide on our list for 2025. You might want to do the same too.

The hotel is beautiful. It is just minutes from the metro. It’s on a main street in a very good location. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The only strange thing is that they do not supply face cloths.

My wife and I stayed for three nights at the Hotel Artemide. Location was good. We were within walking distance of many of the sites that we wanted to visit and those that we were not, it was an affordable cab ride (less than 15 euros). The staff was friendly and assisted timely when we needed directions, suggestions, or to call us a taxi. The room, which was our biggest challenge and really why it was just a three star in our minds, was not up to par for other 4 star properties I’ve visited in Europe. No view whatsoever, it felt even smaller than its advertised size, and the bed and pillows were hard as rocks. We actually asked them to remove furniture so that we could have room to properly open our suitcases. If you are on a long trip with larger luggage, get a much bigger room if possible (ideally 21m). The nice touch was the minibar which was complimentary. If I could do half stars, this property would be 3.5/5

Dear Michael, Thank you for staying with us and sharing your opinion with the TripAdvisor community. It's regrettable to learn that we fell short of meeting your expectations regarding room size, especially considering the variety of room types we offer, some of which are more spacious and boast views of the vibrant Via Nazionale. We make every effort to ensure that all information, including the dimensions of each room type, is clearly displayed on each booking site. We regret not being aware of your preference during your stay. While last-minute room changes can't always be guaranteed, we would have done our utmost to accommodate your request for a larger room. The same applies to mattress firmness and pillow preferences. As indicated on the labels we place on the beds at check-in, we can customize them according to our guests' personal needs. It's unfortunate that we missed the opportunity to provide you with greater comfort on this occasion. We sincerely hope to welcome you back as our valued guest because we are confident we can significantly enhance your stay and overall experience. Arrivederci, Federico Pacini, Hotel Manager

We have visited this hotel with my family and I have to say this is a little Gem in Rome. This is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy your holiday as you are still in a very good location and can walk anywhere. The best thing about this place that makes it special is Staff, they are all assets to this place from the manager who I had in contact via email to sort out our rooms to the receptionists and cleaners and I can just say everyone are amazing. The breakfast is also great, and I do recommend it. Loved the tea and coffee in the lobby too, oh it was amazing specially at night time. Rooms are great and very good size and you can have anything you ask for in the room, like an All inclusive holiday. Well done everyone, we will definitely come back and recommend you to everyone.

My wife and I were celebrating a milestone birthday and booked a cruise in the Mediterranean and wanted to spend some time in Rome pre-cruise. We did extensive research to find the perfect hotel to celebrate and experience the beautiful city of Rome. We were looking for spectacular hotel with exceptional customer service, a great location and we had a particular desire for access to a private rooftop terrace. Hotel Artemide provided all of our requirements and much much more. When we arrived at the Rome airport a ride arranged through the hotel was there to greet us with an exceptional driver named Aldo (who also took us to the cruise port). From that moment to our greeting at the hotel, to our leaving hotel, every moment during our stay was near perfection. The hotel provided us exceptional customer service that has to be experienced to be truly appreciated. Ivan at the front desk, who we dealt with on a number of our requests prior to our arrival, greeted us warmly, knew who we were and continued to look after us throughout our stay. His photo with us is attached to this review and the smiles say it all. Thank you for everything Ivan. The entire hotel team was like being with family, but only better. The room provided a unique experience with an access to a private rooftop terrace. It was well appointed, had a Jacuzzi tub and a great view of the surrounding neighbourhood. Laying there in that tub staring at the stars from a rooftop in Rome is an experience I will never forget. If you are hungry and looking for exceptional food, the breakfast room is one of best we’ve experienced. The fantastic team in the breakfast room add to your experience. They really made sure every guest was well looked after. We gots hugs goodbye. Wow. The hotel also features Ambrosia Rooftop Restaurant & Bar and as a guest staying more than four days, we were provided a complementary dinner at the restaurant The was one of the best meals we’ve ever had anywhere and the service was exceptional. Thank you Micaela. You made our dinner even more exceptional by your genuine warmth. A big thank young’s well to some of the team who made us feel, special, welcome and well looked after: Francesco/ front desk Salvatore and Sabina: breakfast room Lacra / bar at Ambrosia / server at Ambrosia Strongly recommend this hotel for any traveller who is looking for something unique something special and something that will create a memory of a lifetime.

Great hotel. Location is perfect- walking distance to Termini station, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps etc. Rooms are comfortable, modern and very clean. Free water, prosecco, beer, soft drinks and snacks in the minibar is a nice touch. Wonderful breakfast- they will cook omelettes and eggs to order if you ask. Reception staff extremely helpful. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and cocktails on the rooftop bar also. Highly recommended
