We arrive on Thursday and didn't realise until our taxi driver dropped us off that we were way out of the city centre, many of the buildings around us where in fact houses where people lived and it was at least 40 minutes into the...More
Rooms are comfortable and surprisingly big compared to other places in Rome but it's not close to anything. About a 10min walk to the closest train station. Staff were always pleasant. Elevators are a nightmare if the hotel is busy.
I stayed here as part of my Contiki Simply Italy tour. I thought the hotel was nice- very small but it's Rome so what do you expect! Our taxi driver from the airport didn't knew where this hotel was but he found it eventually and...More
Awful experience! After my first night I saw I had been bitten and found bed bugs within the sheets. Comically (and irritating), I spoke with reception and they literally said, "the Americans bring the bugs.."

Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and
riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
