I'm SPG platinum and actually enjoyed my stay at Le Meridien (changed names in early February). The rooms are very small compared to Le Meridien rooms in the United States. Do not expect large rooms. Location: location is very close (10-15mins) from Vatican. The other Rome attractions are a bit further away but still easy to get to by foot...

We've stayed in the Visconti twice, and really love it. We were on the 7th floor (suites) the first time and in a standard room during our second trip. Both times we stayed 5-6 nights. The rooms are big for a European hotel. Also, the breakfast is a full buffet every morning, with really good food. The rooftop deck is...

Stayed as part of a rugby weekend. We loved the room, spacious, stylish and tastefully appointed, l like the Vespa photos, great location too, just a stroll to shopping areas or the amazing history Rome has to offer.

Hotel is seams to have newly renovated rooms and friendly staff place was clean and easy to get in and out of, I was surprised to find out they do not offer the club service at this hotel a place a I usually use to work out of when traveling but that said the lobby is a place you can...

The hotel is nice and clean, the stuff is friendly. The breakfast is not too rich but it is OK, like in Italy. The room is big with all the amenities you need. The hotel is well situated near Cavour Square, 15 minutes walking from Vatican City or Venice Square.

Stayed here for 4 nights for my mums birthday last year. Had an amazing trip, the hotel was clean and staff were friendly, the price was excellent value as we were a short walk from the Vatican and Spanish Steps. I booked this as a surprise and we both enjoyed it so much we would definitely go back to Rome...

We have been staying at the Visconti Palace Hotel for many years. The room is always ready even when we arrive with very early in the morning flights from the US. This is very important to overcome "jet lag." They have redecorated a few floors that are now very modern. The breakfast room has many choices. The staff is attentive...

I've stayed at this hotel twice and have had a good experience each time. It has a good location and is an easy walk to the Vatican. The breakfast offered is very good and I would absolutely take advantage of it. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It outdoor bars in the summer are nice and I recommend them. The...

I stayed the Visconti Palace Hotel as part of a group tour to attend a ceremony at the Vatican. I found the staff to be very helpful and efficient. I had a problem with the shower in my room and they worked very diligently to correct the problem. In my case, the breakfast was included and the team in the...

Very pleased with our choice of hotel - good value for money, convenient, clean and friendly! A shame that the breakfast wasn't included - when making the booking we firmly believed it was! Otherwise good bar and the bar men Alessandro is a good asset to the place!

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
