Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

The location is fantastic. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. We stayed with our children in a quadruple bedroom and it was enough to be warm and relaxed after visiting the city centre. I don't usually sleep well at hotels but this one was really good for me.

They offered us to arrange an airport lift (price depends on the number of people) but we took the train. It takes about 30minutes from the airport station to Termini station, and from the Termini station to the hotel takes only 7 minutes walking

While the hotel is wonderful, and the location and service are perfect, it is a very small hotel with no communal area for the kids to go to when they get bored. Though we were only in the hotel for breakfast & to sleep, that's it. What will YOUR days be like in Rome? If you plan being out all day then I say go for it!

No. It's a very small hotel, well located, great breakfast and staff. But few amenities.
