We just returned from our eight night trip to Rome and could not be happier with our choice of hotel. The location is fantastic - 5 to 15 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Roman Forum. Metro station is yards down the street, along with a taxi stand and a spot for the "hop on hop...

Stayed in this hotel on my recent trip to Rome. The room was great and the staff were friendly and willing to assist with any query. Carlos made our check-in an entertaining one. The hotel is right across from the Barberini station, the location of the hotel is peaceful. I will definitely be staying here again when I next visit...

We spent five days here during our visit to Rome in October 2016. Amazing location, nice rooms, clean and comfortable. The hotel had helpful staff and they offered a good breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

An amazing hotel at the center of Rome! 1 meter from " Berberini" metro station, near Fontana di Trevi and Spagna Square. Perfect service, delicious breakfast, free wifi all the time, extraordinary restaurant! Friendly, responsible, English talking staff!!! Thank you very much for everything!

The breakfast was good, and the location is good. That's about it. The beds for a family of 4 in the "quad" room consisted of a queen bed and a pull out bed. That pull out bed though...worked a number on my back for the 5 nights we were in Rome. I tossed and turned and didn't have ONE good...

We spent a great time at this hotel which is well located. People at the hotel were so kind. Even they helped us in simple things. They are concerned in each detail. We travelled with 2 little daughters

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. It was well connected to the major public transportation, just what we needed. The Front office staff was very helpful. They have a right and necessary spread of Breakfast buffet. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family travelling Rome

Myself & my husband enjoyed a 2 night stay at The Alexandra this week. Our room was clean, comfortable and we had loads of space. Breakfast was more than ample for us with lots of choice. The hotel itself was located in a nice quiet part of the city close to the Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain, but a great...

Great hotel, room was spacious with a large bathroom with a bath. We had a road side room in the 4th floor, very peaceful with the window closed. We kept ourselves to ourselves but when we did need something, no task was too large for the managers behind the desk. Wide spread at breakfast that filled ourselves up for a...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
