I stayed this b&b for 2nights. great location and warm hostess. I had some trouble with finding location but this is my problem(i have no sense of direction though). if you are with heavy lugguage, i recommend u take a taxi from Flaminio station.(taxi fare would be 6-7euro) Bed is quite big and i like pillow as well. We stayed here for a long weekend in October. Giovanna was lovely, as said in previous reviews, went above and beyond excelent service. She advised us on restaurants, places of interest etc. very useful and good advice. Room though basic, was clean and maintained daily. Breakfast brought to the room, was a good start before the days of walking to... More

My girlfriend and I chose this place because we looked for a place within walking distance from all the main attractions, that was not too expensive. Our expectations were exceeded, and we were able to walk everywhere with no problem (furthest "main" attraction was the Colosseum, which was about half an hour of walking from the b&b). The rooms are... More

Giovanna was the best host we could have ever hoped for. She sat us down, showed us where to visit in the city on a map, gave us restaurant recommendations that turned out awesome, delivered us breakfast in bed every morning, and was always available to answer any of our other questions via a phone call or text message. The... More

Very nice location, near Piazza del Popolo, which will be the starting point of your explorations!! Very clean room and bathroom, comfort bed, a little bit small but that's not a problem for travelers who just use their room to take a shower and sleep. Good breakfast in bed the time you want offering orange juice, coffee, butter, marmelade, toasted... More

Ara Pacis is an ideal B&B to stay in while in Rome. We were looking for somewhere that was clean and within walking distance of all the main attractions and this is what we got! We arrived late at night and Giovanna was there waiting on us. She gave us a map of the city and highlighted the key parts... More

We stayed there with our little son (15months) at the end of Semptember. We picked this hotel after reading excellent feedback from other people at various websites. We specifically looked for a hotel which would allow us to do most of the attractions on foot and with a pram. I have to say that the hotel raised to its expectations.... More

Great location, close to the mayor atractions! Charming owner! Giovanna was extremely helpful and pleasant! She goes out of her way in order to help the clientele! We strongly recommend the place. For those who mind there is a room without a bathroom inside but has nice view of the Tevere

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
