Staying at Cardilli is the same as staying home. Gianluca is the best host possible and Cardilli is a very nice place to stay. The breakfast is very good. Another good thing, for me, as Cardilli is not an hotel, is all very quiet and calm.

Thanks to Gianlucca , Cardilly's owner , for making our first stay in Rome just unforgettable. Your place is just perfect, the service, the hospitality, and of course the location! For sure we will come back!

Booked B & B for 2 nights post cruise. The room we were in was very large and had a very spacious shower room and shower. Breakfast was adequate and a bit limited but everything was very fresh. Lovely croissants! Gianluca is a superb host and very helpful; showing us on a map where all the main sites are and the best way to get to them. The B & B location for most of the sites, such as the Colosseum, were well within walking distance. As Vatican is quite a long walk, Gianluca suggested taking the Metro (1.50 euros pp one way) from the Trevi fountain area, which we did. Would stay again in the Cardilli but for those with very limited mobility, there are a few steps to get to the lift from the front door. We also found a great Italian restaurant around the corner from the hotel - about 200m called the Grottino di Abruzzo. Excellent food, at non-touristy prices. Very friendly staff too.

My wife and I found this intimate little hotel via Trip Advisor and spent two nights there. It is within walking distance of many sights like the Spanish Steps and is only a block from a major thoroughfare lined with shops and restaurants. Like many hotels in Europe, this boutique is not well marked and is located on the third floor. Fortunately a lift is available. The outstanding feature of Cardilli Luxury Rooms is the Director/Concierge, Gian Luca, who helped us with everything including toting our luggage downstairs when we departed, preparing and serving breakfast in our room, advising which bus to take to the Vatican, etc. Viva Gian Luca!
