This lodging should be taken for what it is, a place to rest while doing a spiritual pilgrimage to Rome. It is run by a congregation of sisters whose charism is to serve others with love. From the moment you step in you know you are among friends, or should I say kindred spirits. You can join them every morning... More

We had a very tidy, clean room with three single beds and excellent shower and bathroom. There is an elevator, but you have to wait for it. Little English is spoken by the sisters or staff, but they are very helpful and we managed to communicate without a problem. Breakfast was very filling, and the video playing quietly was not... This accommodation was spotlessly clean, secure and a little bus went by every twenty minutes to take you to the vatican. You buy your ticket and catch it around the corner at the cafe. About two blocks away is St Pietro station. Catch the train to Trasteverre (one or two stops) At the station, take the number 8 tram all... More

The convent's located in a neighbourhood where there are several convents taking guests. There are two very helpful Polish women working there. Without being asked, Anna produced a ticket for the weekly papal audience. The Convent is beautifully run. Wonderful view of St Peters from 4th floor balcony accessed via the chapel. I didn't find the 11pm curfew a problem.... More

Was recommanded to me by a friend. Well located: 10 minutes walking distance to St Peter. The room is very very clean. We have a nice balcony with a view of the St Peter dome. Close to several amenities : post office, mini super market and pharmacy. Price is insanely reasonable : 115 euros for 2 persons for 3 Nights... More

This was a great find within about 10 minutes walking of St. Peter's! Breakfast is included, European in nature, but sufficient and they have a rooftop balcony that is beautiful in the evening (go thru the chapel to find it). The rooms are not large but they are comfortable with AC and private baths. The sisters are incredibly helpful and... More

We reserved here on the advice of an Italian friend. The convent is tucked into a neighborhood in such a way that we never expected it to be so perfect for us. We spent four nights there. They set a simple and good breakfast, and the dining room is very friendly with the greetings of fellow travelers and the Sisters.... More

We have stayed in Convents before and always enjoyed them. This time we wanted to stay closer to the Vatican and this was a perfect location. 10 minutes walk to the vatican and close to trains and transit. This convent was very clean and had great balcony's to sit and relax after a long day around Rome. The breakfast was... More
