Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I would highly recommend the hotel savoy when visiting Rome. It was in a convenient location, they allowed us to check in a little early, always had fresh water in the lobby, the hotel was clean and the staff were all so friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was wonderful with everything one could want to eat, and they even allowed us to take food up to our daughter when she opted to sleep in, and graciously offered coffee in a take out cup. The porter was so kind and helpful when we arrived quite jet lagged. Our travel agent chose this hotel, and we will encourage her to book it often for clients. Grazie Mille!

Spent 4 nights in this hotel with my family. We arrived there early and they kept the luggages for us so that we could start visiting rome. The staff are superfriendly, rooms are nice, spacious and clean, walking distance to the metro and to most interesting places in rome. Taxis infront of hotel incase you need them. The breakfast is vast from eggs and bacon to croissants, bread etc. Room had a safe, kettle with tea and coffee. Room was approx €200/night and an extra €7.50/person/night for tourism tax.

We where on the road from Durban to Port Elisabeth. The hotel is good for one night to sleep and to visit the Nelson Mandela House( Museum). Around the hotel some restaurants and a supermarket and a petrol station.

We came to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday, we had 3 twin rooms all close together , the hotel is close to the Spanish steps , which is in the middle of everything, beds were really comfy , breakfast was best Iv had in Italy a variety of hot and cold and everything tasted lovely, staff were very welcoming ,the only thing that surprised me was that they only had two toilets for a big hotel I felt more toilets were needed near reception area , rooms were very clean I would recommend and return.

The Savoy Roma, what a wonderful hotel. Very beautiful hotel with a wonderful Roof top restaurant with fantastic views of Rome. Located close to some of the wonderful historical attractions. The Coliseum was only 1.1 miles away. The hotel has some amazing restaurants very nearby and you feel right at home with how the staff treats you. Would recommend the Savoy Roma to anyone coming to Rome.
