Old 19 th century mansion, beautiful terraces on the first and second levels. Welcoming by doormen s and receptionists was awesome , fruit vase was presented from General manager. Third time here. Special hotel in terms of its architecture and character. Beautiful gardens and pool. Across the street from villa borghese. Quiet area near art museum. They have regular shuttle to Spanish steps. And the breakfast is good. Does lack modern amenities but they're not missed.

A city break powered by very nice weather in Rome proved to be even nicer when staying at this hotel. Although a bit remote from the main attractions of the city, the courtesy shuttle they provide every half an hour made things very easy. Room is well appointed not being very modern though, bathroom is really generous and breakfast is...

Classical, 5-style service with a smile at all times! Calm, luxurious and perfectly located within 20-minute walk through the park to the Piazza de Spagna, with an excellent minibus service on offer for those wishing to avail of it. I can't wait to return.

We stayed 6 nights here on a vacation in Rome. From the moment, we arrived we were treated specially. We were made to feel like we were the most important guest they had. We were escorted to our room personally by the front desk clerk. The staff in the breakfast room personally welcomed us each morning. Most nights we finished...

Exceprional! Hotel is adjacent to a beautiful park. Easy accesss to all sites. Shuttle to area near the Spanish Steps was very helpful if you didn't want to walk through the park. Rooms were and very very clean. They are a bit dated but comfortable. We had a front room which faced the street which was a bit noisy. Traffic...

The Aldrovandi was an unexpected and wonderful bonus to what started as attending at a medical conference. While North American professional associations are content to locate conferences in two star facilities, Europeans usually choose five star. We were in awe when our limousine after skirting the Borghese Gardens stopped at the main entrance. A quiet and efficient staff took our...

The Aldrovandi Villa Borghese was simply a superb hotel in which to stay and enjoy Rome. First, the entire staff is exceptionally friendly & helpful, and always available. The lobby and all areas of the hotel are beautiful, exude warm luxury & comfort, and are beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, with a terrific rain-water shower and very comfortable...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
