We recently stayed at The Duke for a week. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. The staff bent over backwards to be helpful. The breakfast was always fresh, tasty, a large selection and the wait staff was one of the best things about our stay. Each morning they greeted...

I have been a regular customer for over 10 years. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Junior suites are a great value. Truly recommendable for business and family trips. Not close to the city center but the shuttle service works well.

Great hotel with wonderful buffet breakfast and free shuttle bus to centre of town. Best part was the free mobile phone for easy access to Internet for restaurants, shops, maps etc. The only downside was the air conditioning was turned off so the room was very stuffy and the pillows were terrible.

I spent only three nights at the Duke for a conference taking place nearby. A superb hotel. The rooms are comfortable; the service is superb. The morning breakfast and coffee were outstanding (including the scrambled eggs!). The hotel is also very close to a number of restaurants and cafes, so if you don't mind walking for ten or fifteen minutes,...

Lovely hotel, professional staff, the room was well equipped and the breakfast was good. Also, the hotel`s free shuttle to the Piazza del Popolo is very usefull; it saves you valuable time, especially if you`re planning on visiting a lot!

I was happy and I felt welcome from first setting foot inside the Duke hotel. The staff were attentive, polite and service minded. The shuttle to Via Di Palazzo was a great service but my wife and myself went to explore on our own the second day and took the train from Euclide station. We both loved I Duce, the...

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and gave us lots of help and recommendations for travel and sightseeing. The shuttle bus was very useful and it allowed us to explore the city in the evening and try new restaurants for dinner.

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
