Hotel is old, old fashioned and could need an update. Service is not very good. Breakfast is below average.

The hotel is really dated! There is a bad smell in the lobby that reeks into the rooms. The staff is ok. Location is central! I am returning to Rome and won't be staying there again as there are many other hotels within close proximoty...More
Very good location for all main attractions. Short walk to Vatican, 30 min walk to Colosseum. Helpful staff. Rooms are a good size but showing there age...fixtures and fittings need some t.l.c. good continental breakfast.
Close to the piazza Cavour and shuttle bus from the airport... ideal for the Vatican and within 20-30 min walk from all major sites. Clean comfortable and very friendly with a great continental breakfast included we would recommend and will stay here again next time...More

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

Yes, There are air conditioners in the room, and they are VERY VERY efficient. I recommend you leave your room window open while you are out of the room touring the city or participating in activities. When you return to your room close the window and turn on the A/C. It will literally only take about 10 minutes to cool your room to a comfortable temperature. Otherwise, we found that it was almost too cool in the room. Enjoy your stay, this hotel is very nice and if you get up early enough the breakfast is very enjoyable. If you miss breakfast there's a very nice cafe right next door that has an excellent buffet for breakfast.
