Maybe 40 years ago it was a very nice hotel, however today it badly misses renno ation and maintenance.
Too warm in the rooms, too much noise through the tiny walls.
Personnel not very much attentive either.
The only very positive feature is the location
Not much of luxury but a decent hotel with mid size rooms, nice beds, hot running water, normal hotel food, excellent staff (not the friendliest front desk, though), average lobby bar, etc ... Good location!
This hotel seems to be a popular place for people traveling with tour groups. My husband, 2 sons, and I stayed here for 4 nights; we arrived 2 nights prior to our group tour beginning. The front desk staff seemed unorganized/unprepared for checking people in....More

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
