Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I stayed for 7 nights in April. We absolutely loved this hotel. The lobby has a great vibe with coffee in the AM and drinks in the PM. We stayed in a Cosy Up room and it was plenty room for both of us. The shower was fantastic with nice shampoo/conditioner. Shout out to Maria for taking such great care of our room - was so nice to come back after a day of walking to a super clean, neat space. She was a superstar. The employee’s on front desk were lovely and helpful, as were the employees serving coffee and drinks. The location was great for us. Ubers were easy to get and were mostly reasonable cost to get to different parts of Rome. Overall we highly rate this hotel and would absolutely stay here again!

I returned to the Hoxton Hotel in Rome at the start of March 2024 for one night and had a great stay. I was upgraded to a room with a balcony which was a lovely surprise and also gave me more space in the room itself. All the staff at the hotel were very professional yet friendly. The service was great in all areas. I look forward to returning again.

Wow!! From the moment I walked in to the moment I left (unfortunately only a 1 night stay) this hotel exceed my expectations. I was warmly greeted immediately by a member of the front desk, who was very helpful. She advised I had been upgraded to a larger room which was much appreciated. USP’s This hotel is spotless. Free Wi-Fi Great vibe. Good menu. Friendly staff. Complimentary water, tea and coffee in room. Peaceful rooms. Great air-conditioning. Luxury linen. Comfortable beds. USB ports. Spacious room (which surprised me) Negatives: None! My only regret is I am not staying longer. I will however return. Taxi from airport was about €50. Can’t comment on location as I was only here 24 hours for a work conference. Great job Hoxton!!

The Hoxton Rome combines style and warmth effortlessly. Attentive staff and a welcoming atmosphere. While the in-house dining experience at Elio was good, it is a must-try, exploring local restaurant suggested by the staff. Chic decor, comfortable rooms, and ideal location close to city highlights. Thank you

Another great stay at The Hoxton Rome! This time I stayed in a shoebox and it was good. I would probably not do this again, I would just prefer to stay in a bigger room with a bigger bed, just my own preference here. As per usual, I love this hotel, it's very clean and comfortable. The only thing I really don't like is the unsecured wifi network. I could be across the street and connect to it.

My time in hoxton is always amazing, Carlos, one of the staff members, is always the first one to say hello and makes my time there better. I would totally recommend to go there for breakfast or aperitivo 🤍 I also go there to work online, there’s great spaces to do that.

Fifteen years ago we were in this hotel when it had another name and belonged to another network. Since we liked the location, we decided to return. And were not disappointed. After renovations the hotel kept its character, the room was comfortable and clean, the service was polite and efficient - perfect getaway, removed from standard tourist crowds - but close enough to be in walking distance from most landmarks. Highly recommended.

Had a great stay! Enjoyed the convenient daily 5€ breakfast bag and was able to enjoy it each morning at the parks nearby, which are easily walkable. I traveled solo and felt safe in the surrounding area at night. Great place to stay for anyone returning to Rome and looking for a quiet neighborhood vibe. During the day, guests were comfortably working from laptops and chatting in the lobby, and one night there was a fun DJ event. My quiet single room was a great size for solo traveler who doesn’t mind a single/twin bed. The room was clean and very nicely decorated. During my stay, I enjoyed a few drinks at Cugino as well as a sampling of starters and sides from Elio. The ash roasted potatoes were delicious. The real standout for me was the staff. They were exceptionally kind and helpful, especially the staff in the two restaurants.

Perfect Hotel! I went for my honeymoon and the decoration is impeccable. The breakfast was amazing and service outstanding. The rooms clean and the toiletry products were very high end. I couldn't recommend this place enough and the reception was super friendly. If you want to be in a mid century amazing place in Rome, this is for you. I had an amazing time there.

It was a pleasure staying at The Hoxton Rome - the whole team was doing such a great job, assisted with every little detail and you really love to spend a lot of time at the hotel, it's a lovely, warm and very welcoming atmosphere. Also: The food at Elio is wonderful, hint: best Maritozzi - definitely try them!
