We had a lovely stay here for 3 nights 10-13 Feb. Rooms comfortable and clean, basic but fab! Beds made every day and clean towels..we had a little balcony area with a table and chairs too. Breakfast room was light and airy with a fountain our daughter loved looking at, food was varied and fresh and plenty of coffee and tea. Every staff member was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay again if we choose to visit Rome again..

We were a party of 6 staying in thei hotel over the weekend of 21-24th February. Not too far from Rome Termini and Colosseum which was excellent and easy to get out and about from the hotel. Lift is very scary, 2 people max with handluggage. If you cannot manage steps then thisisn't the hotel for you as there are steps everywhere. Staff on the day of check in were lovely, as were all other staff members we encountered during our stay, apart form the night staff memeber on our 1st evening, He was rude, huffed at any questions asked to him and was clearly put out that there was guests staying in the hotel. There were some other guests that had fallen over due to a few too many drinks and he went mental at them and spoke to them in quite a nasty manner - this then led to him thinking it was ok to speak to us like that and any other guests sitting in the lounge. Sadly this person left a bad taste for us as a group! Our room was cleaned to what level is to be questioned as the bathroom still had the travel sized shower gels and shampoos left in the shower area from the last clients. It leads me to question what elses wasn't cleaned properly. Size of our room was fine for the time we spent in it, the other 2 rooms were very small and you had to sit on the bed for the other person to get past you. My review paints a worse picture than it actually is, it is a basic hotel that was fine for a short stay - anything more than 2/3 nights I would certainly look at an alternative hotel.

This Hotel is well situated and within walking distance of most attractions, including the Vatican a mere 3 mile walk along a straight road.
The hotel itself is clean tidy and the staff are very friendly, the rooms are pleasant and cleaned daily. On a morning there is a breakfast provided, meat, cheese, fruit coffee and fruit juice enough to set you up for the day.
Bedrooms have air conditioning which we needed in July.
If you have motorbility issues you should perhaps avoid this hotel as the stairs are steep and narrow and 5he lift only goes to alternate floors.

For our wedding anniversary we visited Rome staying at the hotel Verona. The hotel staff are wonderfully friendly with nothing being too much trouble. We had a lovely room with a balcony over looking the back of the hotel, perfect for relaxing after a busy day sightseeing. Hotel has a lift. The breakfast room is lovely and airy with a retractable roof, breakfast was great, lots of choice and was continually being filled back up. Well situated for sightseeing, close to colosseum and shops and restaurant. Can’t wait to go back again next year.

We stayed for 4 nights at The Hotel Verona. Before booking any hotel, the reviews are a must. This hotel had some pretty good reviews. Upon arrival, we were checked in fine and the receptionist was very polite and informative.
We had to carry our cases up the stairs as we were on the 1st floor and no lift from ground floor.
Our room (103) was in desperate need of a refurb. There were multiple problems with the room but I didn't report anything to reception as it seemed pointless, due to us going out early morning for all day sight seeing.
We had breakfast twice which was very poor both days. Its a continental, which is fine BUT it was all so stale! The bread and crossiants werent fresh, and I feared breaking my teeth when tucking into some toast.
We went out for the last 2 days of our trip.
The bedrooms are cleaned daily, with fresh towels and the reception team were all very polite and very helpful.
The Hotel is in a great location to the coloseum, trains station and lots of shops and restaurants.
If we go back to Rome, I wouldn't choose to stay here

We stayed at the Hotel Verona 14-20 July. We had the room only basis. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We hired the kettle for 20 Euros, so we just had breakfast in our rooms (which we got from the local supermarket).

The staff on reception were always polite and friendly, as were the cleaning staff whenever we bumped into them.

The best part of the hotel is the location. It is so convenient for the Termini, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain etc. There are also so many shops and restaurants to choose from. The restaurant next to the hotel is very good as is the Gelataria at the end of the road.

If you only wish to use the Metro rather than the train station - I would recommend going to the Cavour Metro station as it is a much closer walk!

I would love to go back and I am sure I will one day!

Solid hotel with friendly, English-speaking staff who helped me get the taxi app for a wee hours taxi to the airport. I found the street to be quite noisy with the window open for the cool air, but I always pack earplugs. The room is quite small, but had adequate storage and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was not free as this listing says, but 8 euro. If the room had a tea/coffee service it would have been perfect for one person. Only on my last day did I see the sign about getting a teapot! (20 euro deposit- plan on that and pack a cup and some tea/instant coffee. As a solo traveler, I also appreciated the extra security features since the desk is not manned 24/7.

Good, clean and fresh hotel in walking distance from Roma Termini train station and the Colosseum. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The quad room was a little cramped but you get what you pay for. The aircon worked well and you can control it yourself, so even if it was 36C outside the room was comfortable. The louvres outside the windows could be closed so that no light came in from outside. There was however a night light in the hall. We did not notice any noise from outside in the evening, even on the weekend.

Stayed at this comfortable friendly small hotel for weekend city break. Within walking distance of lots of the main tourist attractions. Breakfast was very good, excellent filter coffee as well as machine that does cafe latte etc. Selection of meat and cheese if you ask friendly waitress. Cereals and oh the pastries.... yummy.
Room small, but adequate and spotlessly clean and has fridge which is handy for us when you have to keep medicine on hols.
A big thanks to staff who allowed my other half to use microwave in kitchen at night to heat up his supper before taking his insulin.
All in all a very pleasant stay I will definitely be back to Rome and would be delighted to return to Hotel Verona. 🥰

I’ve just spent a week at this excellent family run hotel. The location is very central and a few minutes walk from many places of interest. There are a lot of lovely restaurants and bars nearby. The staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly. The rooms are spotlessly clean some of which are currently being refurbished to an extremely high standard. I would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I visit Rome.
