I really loved this hotel. The decor in our room was really pretty and the lights were soft and dim. The beds were comfortable and there was a lot of space. However, the shower was awful. It was awkwardly placed and if you didn't hold the shower head in your hand and left it in the holder, water went EVERYWHERE....

I am very surprised at all the bad reviews. I went to Rome in Jan. with two friends. We booked a triple room which was very large and comfortable. The bathroom was huge and everything was clean. The hotel is right in the middle of the tourist area, It is surrounded by other hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops. Termini Station...

I have been to Rome 7 times and this is the worst of the hotels. Location and breakfast are good so if that is all you are looking for then knock yourself out. Room is the size of a closet and dated. There are far better hotels in Rome for the price. Don't leave anything unattended. Even my scarf was...

Did not like this hotel. It was small and VERY dirty and run down. Dirt stains on the walls, furniture was run down, bathroom had mildew, AC didn't work well. Looks nothing like it does on-line. The only redeeming quality was the continental breakfast. Best coffee.

First of all, allow me to thank you for your time invested in communicating your experience at the Diana Hotel during your far off stay on AUGUST 2008. Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
