Neighbourhood
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Stayed here for a couple of days, well located for sites and transport with the Termini station being close by. Staff were pleasant and the room while basic was clean and well looked after, breakfast was good.

If you're travelling by train to/from Rome Termini, the location is great, don't expect too much from the hotel and you'll be fine. The reception staff were totally indifferent to my arrival - they handed me my key, told me the room tax had to be paid in cash and that was it.

We got a good deal and were happy with our stay. Our only real issue was that we couldn't use the room safe as it was left locked and the manager wasn't available to open it. Everything is a little bit old and nothing too flash but breakfast was decent, the rooftop terrace a

Good location, near the termini and city sight seeing bus stops. Rooms are dated but its the style of the hotel not really a problem although the bathroom was grubby and black mould on walls and shower. We had the tiniest cubicle with awful curtain so we flooded the room and

Definitely not a 4 star motel, virtually no internet anywhere not even in the lobby. Being a European country with a lot of English speaking tourist, you would expect at least 1 English speaking television station. Breakfast quite poor, not very much to choose from at all and

You have bedbugs. What are you going to do about it?
Dear Madame, all Roman hotels have bedbugs from time to time because guests bring them with them on their luggage from the train stations and airports, we get rid of them but they can come back anytime. As you know, it's not an issue of cleaning. We are fighting with them and don't have this issue for the most of the year.
