This hotel is a basic and clean place. The room are really spacious and well look after. Close to the metro in a quiet neighborhood and the staff is really friendly.. Do not expect business or luxurious hotel because this is not the place.

Great location! Neighborhood is quiet and walking distance from metro of 2 minutes. Rooms and linens are clean. The staff is very friendly, Breakfast is okay. I highly recommend this place, both for low prices and location.

Arrived there today and and as soon as we arrived I knew I had made a mistake... Grungy entrance, unprofessional staff member. Got to our room, the floor was sticky, silverfish on floor and dirt marks all over the walls. I expected a no frills hotel, but not an ugly, dirty one. Walked out to find a better alternative. For...

I can't think of one good thing to say about this location other than location! The staff is horribly rude and never crack a smile! The room...where to start..filthy- the purple walls had dirt and hand prints. There was an open electrical outlet right by the light switch!! The smell was horrible and never went away. There was tape over...

Two of us, mother and daughter, on our first trip to Rome. We chose hotel Giada for monetary reasons and booked six nights. On check in we asked for a balcony and were able to have one which made the whole stay for me, as a smoker, very pleasant. The location was a dream, so convenient for all transport links...

This is the worst hotel ever and undeserving of any stars let alone 3. The walls were filthy complete wih shoe imprints on them.Radiator broken and dated. Shower grouting filthy, tiles cracked and soap holder rusty and broken.Toilet at such an angle that an average sized person has to sit sideways on? Mattress had seen better days and bed made...

We stayed here from 12/8 - 12/12 - The worst hotel I've ever been to. Prices are so huge for this type of hotel and I don't know how they can allow that hotel 3 stars. Anyway - Location is good for exploring Rome, but there are many other hotels in this area. Walls are dirty, breakfast IS NOT continental...

My friend and I booked this hotel because we planned a last minute trip to Rome and it was the cheapest available (Still at 250 eur for 2 nights). It was extremely close to the train station, which is what we wanted. When we arrived it took about 20 min until the receptionist came to the desk to check us...

Its a nice hotel if you are not staying in the hotel all the day. I went their for 2 nights (16 and 17 september). I go out at 7am and return at 10pm. About 2 minutes walk to the main Termini Station and to Maria Maggiore church ==> very very close to them. When you arrive to Termini Station,...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
