Went with a group of 9 friends for the Ryder cup. Made to feel very welcome. Super helpful staff who couldn’t have done any more for us and very clean room. Great location right in the city centre. Breakfast was great on a lovely little terrace. Highly recommend

Our family of 11 stayed for four nights at the Relais Teatro Argentina and enjoyed our stay immensely. There are six beautifully decorated rooms. Staff were thoughtful, helpful, communicative, and patient with the four children in our group. The attention to cleanliness was stellar and appreciated. The rooms were unexpectedly beautiful (my son in law who is 6’7” was particularly in awe of the height of the ceilings), spacious, and the temperature (air conditioning unit in each room) very comfortable. Breakfasts were served on the balcony or in the room and were delicious (something for everyone). Some days we came in early and some days late, but it was always with a feeling of safety and knowing that place we had chosen exuded a touch of elegance and much quality. The location is within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in Rome. We recommend the Relais to anyone who may visit Rome and wants to see the city by walking or by bus. It was a perfect spot, and given the high quality of the hospitality, our stay in Rome lives on in our memories as a "trip of a lifetime"!

Right in the centre of the tourist sites. Very convenient. Very nice staff. It's on 2nd floor with no elevator but thier staff are nice enough to help. Rooms are spacious. And clean. Cabs are easy to get to the airport... Just outside Breakfast is basic but passable.

I found this hotel in Rick Steve’s Pocket Rome book. It is in an old building (probably 18th c) across the street from a noteworthy archeological site. The hotel offers airport pickup- Rafael, who gave me a great minitour on the drive in. The hotel is on the second floor, there are quite a few stairs. The building is super secure. The room I had was large, the bed comfortable, the bathroom well equipped. Huge windows overlooking a small courtyard kept the street noise at bay. Paolo and Carlotta along with Thomas were kind, accommodating and all spoke excellent English. I found the experience charming and Roman. There are some signs of wear on the walls and the curtains could use some love but they are great blackout curtains. Mini fridge, water, a huge and delicious breakfast was an option I recommend as well. The hotel is very well connected via busses and in a GREAT neighborhood- Campo di Fiore, the Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain are all close by as is a grocery store (Carrefour] and a laundromat. There’s a good restaurant downstairs and gelateria around the corner. I could not be happier here.

Friendly hotel with large, clean rooms. Great service and security. Fantastic location, close to buses, shops, restaurants, lots of sites all within walking distance. Great for families. Continental breakfast can be eaten in room or on the balcony and is a nice start to the day.

I booked this "hotel" online and chose to pay a bit more to reserve/pay by credit card and not cash (paying cash saves you some money here). Since we planned to check out early, we were asked to pay upfront in cash when we checked in. I asked about credit card and he said no. And no discount from the credit card rate I reserved. Initially, the room looked great - beautiful building! However, we opened the bathroom door and there was a very bad smell i. We assumed it needed to be aired out, turned on the fan and left for the day. We arrived back at around 10:00pm, and the smell in the bathroom was intolerable -like dead animals. I took a fast shower, and the rest of my family decided to wait until morning, hoping the smell would be gone. In the morning, not only did the bathroom still smell, but there was no water and were unable to shower. As we were leaving, another guest was wandering the halls looking for a staff person to check on water. I sent an email to the hotel to let them know about our experience. They said that they checked our room after we left and everything was fine, and denied everything - I responded and asked for a partial refund, but got no response. My complaints are: 1. I reserved at a higher rate so I could pay credit card, but then was not allowed to (and not given a lower rate) 2. There is not 24 hour staff on-site 3.The smell in the bathroom was horrendous, and they basically said they didn't believe us (4 of us were all in agreement about the smell)

This hotel is in a great location and very close to the Pantheon. It is close to all public transportation. The room was huge, very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, informative and accommodated our needs. It was a great find and I would stay again if we return.

The accommodation was lovely and the location excellent. The room was available at 10 am when we arrived and we were able to leave luggage in the room until 3 pm the day of check out. It was quaint and felt like a B&B. Just an FYI, from the outside it does not look a hotel and there is not a staff member at all hours. We truly enjoyed our stay.
