Neighbourhood
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

Excellent service throughout stay. Louis on reception was particularly helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Great hotel, very well maintained and not too far to walk from city attractions.

It was my first time staying in a hotel in Rome. Hotel Farnese was what we were looking for. I traveled with my wife for 3 nights. The whole atmosphere was just perfect! I chose this because of the location next to metro station and a 15’ from Vatican and Piazza del Popolo There

This property is quite old but very well maintained with well appointed rooms. Concierge staff was most helpful and courteous. Be prepared for very firm beds but that would be our only complaint. Walking distance to Vatican City and many nearby piazzas.

Dear guest, thank you for taking the time to write such kind comments. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your visit and hope that we can welcome you back in the near future. Althought our beds have always been considerated comfortable from our guests ( since they are Simmons 5 stars brand), we will keep your opinion about it to provide a better experience in the future. All the rooms are nice and are decorated in a Victorian Italianate style , I would take a suite if it's a special occasion

€55 as of last October. It's a bit nicer than a cab, but needs to be scheduled well in advance (overnight should be fine).
