Spent 3 nights at the start of our honeymoon here. The service and location are 5 star. Daniela, Rafele, Andre booked all of our trips and tours, even on the day of when tickets were scarce. They also gave us loads of restaurant tips which were very good. Location is perfect, 15 minute to Colloseum, 15-20 to trevi fountain. There are basillica's and piazza's everywhere near this place. Room was big, clean, with a cosy bed and nice shower. Would recommend.

Stayed here in September 2020 for our first visit to Rome and for my wife’s birthday.

Our inbound flight was due to arrive at FCO airport very late and we used the hotels excellent private cab service for €60, driver was professional, courteous and we had no problems finding him.

The location of the hotel is superb, centrally located only a 7 minute walk from the jaw dropping Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, and only a 9 minute walk from Termini - Rail/Metro/Bus. We saw all the sights of Rome on foot without the need to take any taxis.

Extremely helpful staff at the hotel, they will assist you with any needs you have - booking attractions, restaurant recommendations and itinerary planning.

And to top it all off we had fantastic breakfasts delivered to our room (see photos in my review), excellent coffee/cakes/cooked breakfast etc, and on the morning of my wife’s birthday they delivered 2 glasses of Prosecco with a slice of cake and a candle - very nice touch!

I wholeheartedly recommend Dharma Luxury Hotel and can’t thank the staff enough!

Stayed at Dharma for two nights with my wife. Room was very spacious and clean. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, able to provide us with recommendations for restaurants, tours and just general routes to follow for popular attractions. We very much enjoyed the jacuzzi and Turkish bath in the room, which were a little worn from use, but still in good working order. Room service choices were a little limited but the food was very good quality, particularly the breakfast. Hotel location is right next to a Metro station and within walking distance of Trevi Fountain (15 mins) and Colosseum (20 mins). Would definitely recommend and we will likely return

We spent five incredible days in Rome, staying at the Dharma. What a special hotel with a super team. Weeks before we arrived they contacted us to arrange transfer from the airport and tell us about some extra services we could book. As it was our honeymoon, we went for the champagne breakfast, which was lovely.

Arriving at the hotel late on Friday evening, they booked us a table in the adjoining Cotto restaurant so we could enjoy our first dinner in the Eternal City. The Cotto is affiliated to the Dharma and is where breakfast is usually served. Again the food and service was great.

The room was lovely, with everything we could wish for and was absolutely spotless. The team at the Dharma are great, really helpful and professional. Faultless.

The location is perfect with all the main sights and attractions within walking distance, but it’s still tucked away off one of the main streets, so city hustle and bustle is not an issue.

We loved Rome. We loved The Dharma. You will too - go!

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had.

I've visited a wide range of countries and stayed at many hotels. I'd have to say that this was one of the best experience I've had. For context, we were a party of 9 with a total of 4 rooms.

Rooms:
Overall the rooms were great, they had all essentials most hotels have. The views were not the best since many of the windows face plain locations. Each room varies in size and layout, some may see this as a negative thing. Each room have plain white cards that are used to open both your room and specific floor. Be sure not to lose your card, as it costs about 40 euros to replace.

Service:
Best experience I've had. To put it simply, the staff was helpful 100% of the time. They were friendly and open to serving us and assisted with any questions we had. Almost each restaurant was recommended by the staff, they even gave us deals to occopany it. The food recommendations were fantastic, almost all restaurants were top tier. If we ever needed help with registering for different sites they would find us the best deal. Room service came daily, they were also friendly.

Language barrier:
There is basically no language gap between the front desk staff. The rest of the staff were moderate English speakers, if you had any questions we would occasionally ask them.

Location:
A fantastic location. Not only was it close to the main metro station, it was near many local markets that sell a variety of goods. The area is safe to roam around, although I still recommend not staying alone.

Breakfast:
Once again, another 10/10. The menu had a decent amount of options, not too small or large. The quality of each dish is also fantastic.

Dharma Hotel is an amazing spot for American tourist and first time international travelers (as myself). The staff spoke English and Italian, provided a guided tour of the Vatican and St Peter’s Basilicia booked through the hotel, and gave recommendations on exactly what to do and where to go for the duration of my trip. The room was very clean with a beautiful shower that included LED lights and a steamer, a mini fridge and they even provided a travel adapter since I forgot mine (which you will absolutely need). Along with all of that they included a breakfast served right at the restaurant attached to the hotel or even ordered up to your room. Finally the hotel is located less than 5 minutes away by walking to the Roma Termini which you can take directly to the airport. All around great experience, a hotel I will definitely recommend.

My partner and I stayed at Dharma for 2 nights and 3 days at the end of March. We chose Dharma as the rooms looked luxurious on photos and the location was said to be central to everything.

As we arrived, the head check in staff (can’t remember his name, began with a G but he is the most consistent member of staff we saw) was really lovely. His English was great and he was attentive however, if anything he was a bit much. After traveling for hours, sometimes you just want to to go up to your room and relax a bit and come back down but he kept talking for around 20 minutes about the best sights to see, etc. which whilst helpful, was not the thing we wanted to be doing right away haha.

Once we did get to our room, it is really well decorated and spotlessly clean. However, we booked the superior double room and it is SO much smaller than it looks on photos. Me and my partner had to move around each other at points when passing each other to get to the bathroom etc. the photos are very deceiving.

The location is absolutely excellent, it’s in the middle of everything really. Only a 10 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and all of the amazing restaurants there, we only had to take a short train to the Vatican City, which was really easy! You pay €1.50 for a ‘100 minute ticket’ with this you can travel wherever on the bus for 100 minutes or have one train travel. Such good value.

We ate at Dharma’s Cotto restaurant next door on their recommendation, it was really lovely and the service was so so good (have attached pictures of our pizza) I thought it was decently priced also for quite a good looking restaurant.

The other disappointing thing was that our room was advertised as a double and it had a double bed frame however, it was two single mattresses pushed together rather than a double. This was really irritating and we kept falling down a gap between the mattresses.

Overall, it is a decent hotel in an amazing location with a good restaurant right next door but I really wouldn’t describe it as luxury as they have.

The Location of the hotel is very good just 200 metres from the Roma Termini .The area around the hotel is beautiful with lots of historical and archeological gems like the Opera House and the reppubblica.
Hotel is accessable to all the main attractions like Spanish steps, Colosseum and Villa borghese .The metro and bust station provide easy access to all the main sights and attractions of Rome.
We arrived in the evening and were upgraded to a triple room which was very nice of the hotel as the to was bigger and better than the one we had booked.
The staff at the from office are very Friendly and Helpful and make every effort to make the stay comfortable.
Special mention for Daniella who was very helpful and looked after our concerns upon arrival .She also gave us the options of the tickets to the Vatican and other attractions and we booked the tickets to Vatican museum through the hotel.
Also Giorgio and Roberto helped us with the directions and the map and gave very good suggestions for the nice places to eat and drink .Since we were there during Christmas the staff was very friendly and suggested places which may close.
Breakfast was nice but needs a little improvement because we had the same selection of food items repeatedly.
Overall staying at the hotel during festive days made our stay memorable by the staff
