We had a good experience at Hotel Mimosa, despite the fact that a transformer fire left the entire area without power. The hotel did not have a back up generator, so we were without power, wifi, tv etc for about a day. The staff were very nice, and helpful. The rooms are basic, and clean. The location is very good... Dear Delidog, thank you for your review. We are very happy to know that the experience at Hotel Mimosa has been good. Unfortunately as you know, a transformer fire, two blocks from us, has blacked out for more than 24 ours, all the area. We have a power generator for emergency that can supply energy for 4 hours. Fortunately, it's... More

Located very close to the Pantheon which made for an excellent base to start your day. There was a small market across from the front door which made it nice for snacks, etc. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions that we had. Room size and shower was actually larger than expected which was a nice plus. The... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Mimosa. Very friendly and helpful staff. This hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the Pantheon and is surrounded by restaurants. Whilst not a luxury hotel it was clean with good size rooms. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome who wanted a central location.

This is located in a central area that is close to the Pantheon and other historic locations. Located close to shops and restaurants, the hotel also offers a very good sit down breakfast of the mornings. The hotel is very clean and the staff is great, cordial, and very helpful even when there may be a language barrier. Great place... More

This hotel represents the culture of Italy and provides great service, great location, and great accommodations. Language barriers at times can be a hindrance when visiting in areas, but not here, the staff was most accommodating and went out of the way to assist. The location was central to many sites, the Pantheon as well as many others, highly highly... More

This hotel offers most central location, five star service and best value accommodation for family. It is steps away from Pantheon. Even with kids, we easily walked to all the major attractions, including Vatican and the Colosseum, within 20 minutes. The service was superb. The staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. They stored our luggage after we checked out... More

I'd like to start by thanking the staff for a warm welcome and a pleasant stay. Every interaction with them was amiable and comfortable, and they were able to dispense useful information easily. The breakfast is varied, plentiful, and tasty. The coffee is bottomless and pretty good by American standards. They also have tea kettles for use in your room... More

This hotel isn't a fancy place with everything just so but the beds weren't too hard or too soft! 2 pillows per bed, sparkling clean rooms, a nice size bathroom, a front desk that was very helpful concerning questions for buses to different places. It was kind of like someone's home but with privacy and hotel touches. So close to... More

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Mimosa for one week and we were overall satisfied with our stay. We did our research ahead of time, so we knew that we weren't walking into the Ritz hotel or anything.
