Stayed 3 nights. Nothing special about the rooms and the cooked buffet breakfast was atrocious. Cooked meats and eggs were left to go cold and greasy in unheated Bain Marie. (No power outlets in the dinning room???) Waiting staff more concerned with their own company....More

Personally, I would never drive in Rome. The traffic is crazy! Taxis are relatively inexpensive. If you are returning the car at the airport, you can easily get a cab. However, it's not a short distance from the main Rome airport to the hotel (or any centrally located hotel). And, of course, all this depends on how much luggage you have to carry around.

Note that you have drive from Piazza Del Popolo as the street the hotel is on in one way (North to South). Hope this helps. M
