Having read the reviews on here before booking in to this hotel we knew the rooms weren't huge, so decided to treat ourselves to the Borghese Suite with an outdoor terrace, and boy was it worth it! If you are staying in Rome for a short break I would seriously recommend this option, especially when the hotel offer specials such...

this is a classy, well decorated, smaller hotel - yet affordable. the location is great. the staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. the breakfast was good, and be sure not to miss the 6 to 10 pm happy hour at the bar! there is no charge for the internet, however during our stay it was problematic and the staff...

As older and inexperienced travels River Palace Hotel made this trip perfect from time of arrival to check out the staff were so helpful and kind. The position was ideal . Metro a short walk away . Trams very close. Location just down the street from Piazza del Popolo . The room and bath room were small but had every...

Very close to Piazza del Popolo giving easy walking routes to a lot of the main attractions. In particular there are a lot of good value restaurants in the area so make sure you wander down some of the side streets. The hotel is very comfortable and clean, and the staff were always ready to help or offer advice. Unusually...

The River Palace is the perfect location while visiting Rome. We have stayed there a couple times and were not disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. The rooms are great and very comfortable. The breakfast service is outstanding and delicious. We liked that the Metro is only a half block away so we could jump on that a...

This hotel has great staff and is in a great location - but as a 4* I was expecting a wee bit of luxury and it was just - ok. PROS - Staff are polite and friendly - they even sent up a bottle of wine since it was our honeymoon! - Breakfasts are great; a good choice - Location...

We stayed here for 1 night while travelling round Italy and Sardinia. Of the 6 hotels we stayed in over 2 weeks this was the best. The staff could not of been more helpful, parking our car, talking us through maps, showing us 2 rooms and letting us pick one! The room was beautiful, quiet and very comfy, breakfast was...

Typical 4* Hotel in Rome, with a difference. Location was great, but Staff made the stay. Whilst the rooms could be bigger by South African expectations - hence we booked two, since we were three Adults and two kids, the place was great. Walking distance to all you wanted to see. Nothing was too much trouble for the Staff, really...

I stayed here in Feb 2013 for 2 nights before joining a tour. I wish the tour had styed here. The hotel was lovely and the staff were excellent. I arrived early before check in time after travelling for hours from Melbourne Australia. They looked after my luggage as I wandered through the piazza de popollo (sp?) that is a...

we stayed here for 3 nights in june. I was a little dissapointed after reading such glowing reviews. I found the room was very small and the bathroom was very antiquated. Shower was very strange set up in the middle of the bath. I was dissapointed in breakfast too. Much was geared up to their american visitors. Having said all...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
