Rather than staying at an overpriced, unfriendly, brightly lit hotel in the centre of Rome, stay here! This was our third visit to Rome and we have never stayed in a place as clean, modern, comfortable and welcoming as Roberto's B&B. This apartment is situated in the real Rome - Trastevere - lively, authentic and no English anywhere! It's a...

Alba Romana is practically an apartment (3rd floor) that was redesigned as a mini-hotel with 3 rooms. There is also a 4th room used by the owner Roberto. Since we booked all the 3 rooms, Roberto was kind enough to let us use the 4th room as a living room. All the 3 rooms are very nice, bright, very clean...

Clean, bright, comfortable. Good location (tram) I loved the warm colours in our room. It was very new and clean, and decorated very well. Also Roberto was an excellent host - very helpful, and pleasantly laid back, whilst still being very attentive to even minor details. Restaurants and shops are not too far away. Tram is also a walk away...

Very clean, well furnished room/ apartment. Roberto and his daughter were very helpful before and during our stay. This accommodation is near a tram line and once you are used to that it is easy to use. Roberto also booked us a table at a local restaurant for the Saturday night! Would definately stay there again.

This is like staying at someone’s home. People are extremely nice and accommodating. The location is outside the old Rome city but if you don’t mind being a little further out, then this is an excellent location as the transportation into the old city is easy and very good. The room extremely nice; modern, large and very well laid out.

Me and my friend visited Alba Romana in July and we were really positive about our visit. The owner Roberto and his daughter, was so kind and helpful. I would recommend this B&B! Also Its cheap! :) The only thing that didnt made our stay "perfect" was the tiny beds... Other then that! we would return again :)

We stayed three nights in Alba Romana during an interrail in Europe and the place stood out clearly as one of our best accommodations for various reasons. The first and crucial was the owners' Roberto's and Tiziana's excellent service and help, offering their advice, communicating before we arrived, and even helping us get from the train station to the hotel....

Vacation in Alba Roman surpassed our best expectations. Large apartment, divided into three single rooms, kitchen, study and living room, has always been in perfect condition. Every morning we were waiting for a great breakfast, and its time and its content we have chosen for ourselves. But always it has been completed by a cup of real Italian cappuccino ......

We had a wonderful stay here on our recent trip to Rome. Everything was modern, roomy, immaculately clean and the service was amazing! We have traveled extensively and would be hard pressed to think of an instance where we were better cared for. When you are driven to a parts store to replace your burned-out converter, given a bag of...

This is a lovely B&B (based in an apartment building), with three rooms, all newly furnished in a modern style. (I am told it has only been operating for about 5 or 6 months.) The rooms and ensuite bathrooms are spacious and clean. We also had access to the neat little kitchen where we could make our own tea (as...

“All the rooms are located near the street, you can hear some street noise, but nothing to disturb you. The walls are not very thick, sometimes you can hear the discussions from the other rooms. Again, it did not bother us very much.”

“Quality of sleep: the street is noisy from 7.30 am to 11 pm, if you sleep with open balcony, if no, conditions are noisy too. Location: it is certainly no center of Rome, but tram №8 is super comfortable!”
