Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They organised the taxi transfer from Rome airport for us and also helped us locate a restaurant for Christmas eve and Christmas Day. The breakfast buffet was fab with lots of choice. We were pleasantly surprised to find a kettle in the room, as it wasn't mentioned on the booking site, that I could see. The room cleanliness was exceptional and staff very friendly
Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place in Roma, this is the right place! The hotel is on one of Roma’s hills. A perfect calm location, you can reach the city center in 5min by bike, in 15min by walking. And what a walk, the hotel is directly near the Villa Borgese, you can walk threw the park and end up directly in the city center. The employees are the friendliest and most helpful. They will be happy to help and advise you on sightseeing trips. The rooms are very clean and spacious with a nice temperature, very important at that time of the year. The breakfast is also nice (of course due to corona you will not have a buffet at the moment) and the service is perfect.

Un grande grazie per il soggiorno!

We have had a fantastic stay in Hotel Fiume. The staff are very friendly and it is very clean. We paid a little extra when booking which reserved us a room with a balcony which was fantastic - I have attached photo. Breakfast is great and staff are lovely. Hotel is a 10min walk from the metro but is on most bus routes. Bus to the Termini is under 20mins and bus to Colosseo/Vatican is under 30mins. Would 100% recommend this hotel and would also recommend the room upgrade when booking for around £15 each!

Where do I start!?!

This hotel is so beautiful! The staff are so welcoming and polite. As you enter and leave the receptionist always makes the effort to say hello or goodbye which I found so welcoming. And the breakfast staff and cleaners are also so polite, helpful and kind! I genuinely believe it is the little things that make your stay somewhere foreign comforting.

The breakfast is gorgeous, a lot of variety of foods, fresh orange juice which you can make yourself! Different types of tea, every type of freshly ground coffee you can think of and you can even make drinks to take away! And the espresso and croissants are to die for!

The rooms are very modern, our bathroom was beautifully presented, the beds are absolutely humongous and so comfortable, they change the beds and towels everyday and toiletries replenished too! And we even got a little balcony with some adorable flowers! Air-con and heating worked perfectly and we had wifi wherever we went in the hotel, and it worked amazingly in our room.

The walk to the centre is roughly 3ish miles, which we felt was perfect as its so calm and chilled out in that area rather than the city centre chaos. As sometimes it can be a little daunting and scary in the centre of Rome. Can even take a coffee away or grab one from the gorgeous little cafe/bar across the road.

I highly recommend this hotel. If I ever return to Rome I will be going out of my way to ensure that I am staying here again.

Thank you for being to welcoming Fiume Hotel! You made our stay in Rome perfect.
Also, please post me a croissant and a long espresso, I'm struggling to get through my days without them haha.

Good staff and very clean and cozy hotel! The breakfast in the morning make your day beautiful -:) Th location is easy from Termini to the hotel and also from the hotel to other location and the cost for the bus is 1.50 ticket very cheap. The location is also secure during the day and also in the evening. In the street you have 3 or 4 restaurant around the corner, and also you have a Market place with fresh fruits, vegetables, and good coffee.

Good experience!!!

We have stayed 4 nights in a triple room. Excellent hotel with amazing breakfasts where the staff are super friendly and attentive. Although there was a selection of a cooked breakfast on offer, being in Italy we kept with the amazing selection of continental breakfast choices - fresh fruit, breads, pastries, cold meats/cheeses, cereal and lots of choice for hot drinks and juices.
Room for 3 was quite tight with our 16 year old daughter, however, for a City break this was fine as we weren’t in the room long.
Beds were super comfy, bathroom clean with miniature toiletries provided and hairdryer.
Only slight negatives were the location of plug sockets for the kettle and mirror in the room however without the 3rd put up bed I’m sure these would be easier located and really not overly important.

The location was brilliant. About 20 minute walk to the nearest hop on hop off bus which after a good breakfast we enjoyed the walk.

Evening wise - lots of brilliant restaurants within minutes to walk and a superb local cafe/bistro directly opposite the hotel.

Highly recommend Al Padovano (most amazing traditional environment and delicious food) , Picoloco (book a table ahead) Tribeca (fish restaurant).

Visited Rome and stayed in hotel Fiume Mon-Thurs with my partner and 8 year old son.
We were given a corner triple room which had ample of space for us, great facilities which included complimentary bathroom items.
Breakfast was great lots of pastry options, hot/cold drinks and some hot food. All staff we came in contact with were very polite and helpful. Must mention Carlos at the front desk, Kasem (barman) and Marco (maintenance, who fixed a plumbing issue within the bathroom promptly) thank you. Transfers booked both ways. Cannot fault hotel 10/10

Walked around one day on my own due to my son feeling unwell. Walked to Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, collisium, and other places near by which didn't seem overly far. Local metro station (5-10 mins walk) was very easy to use. $1.50 for 100mins, easy connections. Taxi prices not very expensive to get around if needed. Local pizza, Pizzeria Italia dal 1987 recommended for take away along with Gelateria Azzaro next door to this venue.
Thank you for a great trip.
Chris

Stayed a the hotel Fumie in May, my daughter booked it for our Xmas present from all our children. We had a taxi transfer from the airport and when we arrived we were most impressed by its appearance and as soon as we entered the lobby we were greated by the team and checked in and shown straight to our room. The room was on the 5th floor it was spotless and clean. Breakfast is great with fresh coffee and its continental, loverly and the restaurant was never crowded. It has a loverly roof terrace u can catch the sun on and we did chill out on the terrace after the sight seeing. It was very quiet and we never seen to many guests but everyone we met was very friendly. The location is great and close to restaurants, cafe's and shops.
Overall we are very pleased with our stay and hotel is so quiet we had the best night sleep in the large bed. Would definitely reccomend this hotel.

The location is really nice, you'll be able to hit tourist places (must do stuff such as colisseo, roman forum, pantheon, bocca della veritá, vatican, etc .. ) in a few minutes (we did it by walking for most of them).

The room (standard with double bed) is good. Nothing more, nothing less. This is very clean. I would say only a kettle (boiler) was missing but you can ask for this at the reception. Which make talk about the staff now..

The staff is awesome and so kind. I want especially thank the both men who were working at the reception during our stay and also the sweet lady and her tall colleague who took care of us every morning for the breakfast. We requested several little things, such as having boiled water (to have tea in our room), having scrambled eggs in the morning, etc... they always helped us as much as possible.

I recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Rome for a few days.

I got a bus from the airport to the train station, it’s about a mile walk from there. The bus was about 23 euros return from memory. Please google the distance between the train station and the hotel as this is a bit fuzzy in my memory.

Do you charge local tax for babies as well? If so how much and whyyy
Rome, Italy
The Roma Capitale authority has decided on tourist accomodation tax payments due from the guest of hotels, for Rome's accomodation facilities. In 4 stars hotels the amount is euro 6.00 per person, per night. Free of cherge for children under 10 years old. Thank you Alessandro Front Office dept.
