I've got a room on the ground floor that had NO WINDOW! They denied to change it at the reception. The shower was dirty and bad smelling. Even though it supposed to be nonsmoking room, it seemed the client before smoked there.
Place is ten minute walk if you know where you are heading which is pretty much straight out of the Bologna metro stop. Take the via delle province exit the one on the far right as you exit the metro. Location okay and feels a...More
We arrived Friday afternoon via train from the airport, then metro. The hotel was 10 minutes easy walk from Bologna station. I'd emailed in advance to request a balcony room, as I'd read average reviews of the ground floor rooms. The hotel had a great...More

San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San
Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
