Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Negative: The room was very small and only had a small window, which had to be covered so nobody could see inside because it was on the ground floor (nr. 105). The room was very badly soundproofed. We heard every flushing of the neighbors' toilets as if they were in our own room. When it rained, it sounded like we were in the shower. The bed was small. Breakfast was not included in the price. The neighborhood wasn't very nice and a bit scary at night. We can't understand why the hotel has such good reviews. Positive: The staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay. Internet connection was good. It's not far away from the Termini train station.

This is an honest, genuine review. Not automated! I’m unsure if me and my partner received a different room to everywhere else, but this was NOT what we intended to book. It prides itself on a ‘romantic’ and ‘boutique’ get away. Firstly, it’s not central and you are completely out of the way of everything which makes you feel isolated. The room itself had a mini fridge with a bottle of water, that’s it. No kettle or anything. The whole room needs a major update and it smelt of damp 24/7. It was like a room from a comedy show! The walls are paper thin, our plug sockets were too thick for the old fittings they had. Therefore we had to charge our phones in the toilet… We paid £5 each for breakfast one morning to try it out…DON’T. What a rip off. You have to ask for them to bring you coffee from the kitchen. No toaster, not hot breakfast. It’s a joke to be honest. We had one tiny window in our room, which you then had to access through going outside into a courtyard (not pleasant). We felt like we were in a prison cell the entire time and stayed out every night as late as we could so we didn’t have to go back. I’m extremely angry and confused as to why the reviews say it’s amazing, and we were completely miss sold. To top it off we paid €60 city tax when we left. Spend a bit more money and stay in a NICE hotel. The staff were pleasant but that’s about it for positives.

The hotel was adorable. Found it very quiet. Only 25 min walk from termini station. There were lots of restaurants near and a very handy grocery store next door. The only thing we were disappointed about was not being able to use the rooftop patio. Would stay here again.

The hotel is a short walk from a bus and tram stop, a little longer walk to the under ground metro, lots of scooters around to hop on and off also. It is a lengthy walk to the main tourist attractions direct. Our room was comfortable and clean, it was quite small for the furniture and felt over crowded, there was a desk in the way of the hall to the bathroom which you hit your leg off every time you passed. The bathroom was lovely and modern, wasn’t expecting that after the reviews I’d seen from other guests and they were renovating the hotel during our stay. We tried breakfast one morning for €5’s, it wasn’t for us and there is a fridge in your room and a local supermarket a stones through away to purchase things for yourself.

What a lovely hotel! Historic and charming place with a very nice courtyard. It seemed like all the guests enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast or cocktails. What really makes this hotel a wonderful place to stay is the staff. They are all kind and welcoming and eager to offer assistance. The breakfast staff remember if you like coffee or tea and which room you are staying in. We rarely eat breakfast at the hotels where we stay but we ate breakfast here every morning. They offer a beautiful buffet with many choices of food and drinks. Delicious and convenient. The managers and receptionists recommend restaurants, call for taxis, assist with luggage, make drinks and by the way, they also check you in and out! We stayed there during the Ryder Cup golf tournament and the hotel was full, however, we never felt rushed or crowded or neglected. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay and will certainly stay here again.

First, let me say the staff is so nice and friendly. The room and bathroom was clean. The bed was able to accommodate my 6’ 4” husband and the room came with a cute little balcony. 10 minutes away from Center Center so close to the attractions. Highly recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights on our trip to Rome and had a wonderful experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a lovely courtyard to spend time in! We arrived early and were able to get in our room quickly. A little further from the main tourist attractions but it is very easy to get there. This is a hidden gem and I would definitely stay here again! Thank you to the staff Alessandro (Alex) for making our experience in Rome and at this hotel so wonderful!

I'll base this review on a very simple + & - method to keep it brief and not waffle too much. + Charming building + Very relaxed atmosphere + Brilliant value for money breakfast 5 Euros per person (Although nothing cooked, large selection of cereals, Danish pastries, , fruit and fruit juices, cold meats and cheese. + Very friendly staff (especially Max) happy to book a cab for you and good standard of English. + Very good room service, clean towels and bedding daily if required - Room a little bare and lack of coat hangers ( 5 in wardrobe) - Tiny shower, i mean tiny too, however it worked really well but nowhere really to store anything whilst in there. - Air con rather old and had to be left on continually to get the room cool enough as the temperature was 33 Celsius outside

Excellent customer service from the hotel staff. Always smiling and so lovely throughout my stay. Extremely knowledgeable and offers great recommendations for a marvellous city. The bus and generally the whole public transport transit system is brilliant. Right up there with all major city’s especially in this party of Europe. The delight of Rome is history and exploration. This hotel offers a brilliant location. The Hotel was very very clean. Great food and great parking. Highly recommend for this area of Rome.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were friendly and very helpful. Alex, on the desk, was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us plenty of advice and tips about siteseeing in Rome. The hotel was always clean, tidy and quiet, making it a lovely relaxing place to come back to after a busy day siteseeing in the city. Breakfast which could be added, was only 5 euros per head with ample choice. I would definitely go back. Finally...'Thank you Alex for being so helpful and friendly. You made our stay at the hotel feel very inviting, enjoyable and comfortable.'
