Stayed in this hotel with family from 14 - 18 April. Rooms are spacious (booked a triple room since we have an 8 year old). Location is excellent, walkable to most of the attractions or a metro ride to Vatican. Staff were courteous and helpful. Termini is just one stop by metro or a 10 minute tram ride. Overall I...

Room was very big and neat, with a nice view and a good wifi connection. However at times there may be a lot of noise from the neighbors and the heating did not work. I would not recommend the breakfast, the €5 really isn't worth the small & untasteful meal. The staff wasn't really helpful, hardly said anything when we...

Wasn't in the nicest of neighbourhoods, rooms very basic, hardest bed ever slept on. Choice of scary cage lift or 5 long flights of stairs to reception! And reception staff tried to book a taxi to airport for us for 55 euros when the city guidelines are a set 30 euros for airport taxis.

The location is great. 3 min from the subway and 1 stop from the central station if Rome. Amazing looking building on the inside with an old (authentic) elevator. I loved it. The hotel is on the 5th floor. No complaints about the room. Everything was good and as expected from a 3* hotel.

The Hotel is nearby the metro station. Not far away from main train station and walking distance to colloseum. Take a room facing to the park ! People are friendly there. The elevator is amazing for kids . A bit difficult with luggage, because hotel is in the upper floors

Short walk from the Colosseum and other historic sites, easy acces to the Vatican City via nearby Metro station. Not too expensive (for Rome), although breakfast is not included. Nice view to the park from some rooms, but quite some traffic noise if you like sleeping with windows open. Wifi coverage varies greatly depending on which room you get.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
