We stayed here 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The room was perfect with a great view from the 5th floor. The hotel is very close to where the airport bus drops you, so commute is not a problem. It's also exactly 5 mins from Vatican City and a 15 min walk to Piazza del Popolo, which makes it...

Excellent introduction to the area and to Rome by the host. A cappacino machine for your coffee in the morning. Let than a ten minute walk to the Vatican - St. Peters and the Vatican Museum. Very good restaurants very close to the apartment. The room is medium sized with a good bed, tv, desk, closet, and a nice chair....

This place is a real find. The outside looks like an apartment building and not a guesthouse but it is there! The owner is really nice, friendly and helpful. Our room was very good, clean and everything worked. The communal dining / kitchen section is very useful indeed. The location is perfect for the Vatican area. The bars and places...

Day by Day became our home away from home during our first visit to Rome! Thank you, Maurizio! We were traveling with our young children (ages 4 and 7) and the spacious room along with the kitchen amenities (to include fresh oranges provided to guests to press their own fresh orange juice), Nespresso coffee, and a refrigerator with kitchen table, dishes...

New owners are continuing the great service at Day By Day. Our family had the entire apartment (all four rooms). The kitchenette and dining area provided a wonderful gathering space. Maurizio was extremely helpful in arranging taxi service and maps to find our way around. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Hair dryer provided and a towel drying rack...

Absolutely a great location, centrally located within easy walking distance to the Vatican. Establishment has been upgraded with nearly soundproof windows. A bit of a climb upstairs but the lift makes it easily accessible. The service was A+. Would return to this accommodation, and would recommend to a friend.

Well placed B&B! It took us 5 minutes of walk to reach Vatican City and approx. 40 minutes to get to the Colloseum or the Villa Borghese. The host was very available before and during our stay. The room was clean at our arrival and, thank god, there was an air conditionner in every room! Our only problem with this...

I stayed here five days and four nights in October. The owner, Tiziana, showed us incredible hospitality and generosity during our stay. We just loved staying at her bed and breakfast! The rooms were very clean, as were the bathrooms. Wifi was great in all the rooms. The breakfast she organized each morning was very authentic and delicious. Tiziana would...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
