We stayed for 3 nights in June on our honeymoon and have only positive things to say. The location is perfect, being a 1-2 minute walk from Termini Station, and the hotel looks appealing and luxurious from the moment you enter the gates. The staff at reception were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and we were offered a complementary drink in the bar whilst our bags were taken to our room.

We booked the junior spa suite and I have never been so pleased with a hotel room in my life! Having the spa pool in the room was incredible to relax in, particularly after long days walking around in the heat. There is also a hammam/steam room in the shower, which was very good. The room was of a very good size and it was cleaned multiple times each day. I honestly cannot recommend this room highly enough, it was incredible and we spent so much time using the spa facilities - in fact we had complementary access to the main spa but didn't use it once!

The bar/restaurant is a beautiful room, with large pillars and stunning decor. The staff were all incredibly professional and the drinks list was vast (try a passion mojito, beautiful!). The breakfast offering was also huge and catered for all tastes, it was of very high quality.

All in all our stay was an amazing one and I would not hesitate to stay again - even if we didn't get any freebies despite it being our honeymoon!

Some of the other reviews about the staff and the quality of the rooms have really missed the mark. Take my word for it instead, it's a quality hotel.

This hotel is extremely well-located near the Termini. Luxurious rooms and great staff, with a very decent breakfast.

However, when I'm paying €200 a night I expect tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and do not expect to be charged €8 for a black tea. Also, the Senses bar and restaurant was closed for one evening - sadly the evening we had planned to try it. That's why we ordered the black tea.... A minor point, but there were no decent English channels on TV. Even Sky News would have been good.

We requested adjacent rooms and were given two very large rooms at the end of a hallway, one of which must have been a suite, with no extra charge. The rooms had 13ft ceilings (one with gold leaf) and one room had a marble balcony. The rooms were clean and modern and the staff very friendly. Included breakfast was very fresh and the staff quick to offer coffee, juice, etc. Location was very convenient, right near the large train station, which made airport transfers a breeze as well as a day trip to Florence. Would definitely stay again!!!

We booked a junior suite and we didn't get the room we paid for. Having not been away for 2 years due to covid, we decided to treat ourselves to a room upgrade and the room we were given was nothing like the room that they were advertising as a junior suite, it was actually the room that they had labelled as a collection superior room on their website. Still a nice enough room but we had paid for an upgrade and they had put us in the wrong room. Plain and simple. They offered to show us a different room the following day as they had nothing else available. The second room they showed us was smaller that the room we were in and not as nice. I explained that i just wanted to be put in the room i booked. After looking at the second room we went back to our own room to find that someone had been in our room to remove the iron board we had requested and thrown our towels (that were covering the board as the cover was so thin) had been just thrown on the floor. Our bins hadnt been empties, dishes not collected etc. No maid service at all. Upon complaining, after we went down to reception as there were no phones to call down and when you call the switchboard using your mobile no-one answers, maid service came. The following day they showed another room which was decorated nicer but smaller. They thought they could make up for not giving us the room we booked by offering us a nicer room with a balcony but couldn't understand that an unfurnished balcony that we couldn't use due to the rain and that overlooked the train station didn't make up for the fact we weren't given the room we booked. We were not trying to be difficult. We just wanted the room we booked. At that point the manager just became rude and hostile. From then on, we found plug sockets hanging off the wall we were in, a foul smell started coming from the drains in our room and on checkout we found that things had been charged to our room that we didn't have. 3 out of 4 mornings all the hot breakfast items were cold, something other guests were complaining about. When explaining this to the manager he became aggressive, throwing his pens across the desk, muttering in Italian so that we couldn't understand and making hostile comments. He made me feel like i was a nuisance, like i was complaining about every little thing to get out of paying for my bill. I just wanted the room i paid for, for it to be clean and a hot breakfast. Not too much to ask is it? The manager was beyond rude. Wont stay again!

From the moment my wife and I arrived we were made to feel a valued customer. We did have an issue with lack of hot water in our room, as soon as I made the reception staff aware they got quickly to work in keeping us very happy, we were upgraded to a very nice spa suite with a private balcony that had views of the city centre and a bottle of sparkling wine also.

The spa is small but well equipped and very clean.

The food is great, reasonable prices for the quality.

The quality of the customer service is what stands out the most, they really do try hard to make their customers happy. Great staff.

Big plus is the location also, very near lots of tourist attractions, art museum and historical sites are literally next door.

We spent two weeks in Italy. Arrived in Rome the day before we left to get closer to the airport. The hotel is in a crappy section of Rome but right near the train station. The outside looks historical and you assume from the price and description, you are getting a very classic room in Italy. To our horror we were escorted to the ugliest most sterile looking mental hospital room we have ever seen. How can a building with the most beautiful architectural elements go in the extreme modern direction of decor? The hotel is cold and weird and I could not have done 2 nights in it. Our room was the ugliest room I have ever seen. All white walls, and decor. Cheap bed and pillows. Cheap copies of unknown 70's musical artist from the 70's hanging on the walls. There was no phone in our room at all. You literally could not call the front desk. I was given a business card to call if we needed someone. When I tried to call it, it was a Radisson main number with a million options. I can't believe I could not reach the front desk without physically going down to the lobby. Had to do that after waiting 20 minutes for our luggage to brought up. Someone came to our door for turn down service with this teeny tiny "snack" thing that I just can't believe they handed to me without laughing. We stayed in the last night because the area was so bad. I'd never stay at this place ever again. Very expensive stay too.

Very bad customer service - felt like the front desk didnt care much about the customer satisfaction of the guests.. At other 4 or 5 start properties that we stayed during this (and previous trips) - the front desk was always happy to help with reservations, arranging transportations etc.. Here it felt like we were burdening them with our requests (for restaurant reservations!!)..

The location is great if you are planning to use the train/bus transportation - but otherwise, it is in a different part of the city from all the key attractions and restaurants. It didn't help that there was a taxi strike the last 2 (of the 3 days) we were in Rome, and ended up using Uber which was super expensive as a result.

Arrived late at night but no issue
Room 330 was a a great room...bed was very comfy & bathroom beautiful BUT there was a generator outside the bathroom window was slightly muted by having the door closed. The room was situated next to the service lift which when used would vibrate through the room plus needed an oil as squeaky.Apart from great location & staff...would consider returning but to a different part of the hotel

Right from when we arrived somehow the vibe was not great. 2pm and room not ready so a drink in bar was offered, thanks, at 20 to 3 it was going to be 20 mins so we bought a drink as only one was free. At 3.10 we decided to approach reception to see how long it would be. We had been travelling since 9am, no food since 8.30 and due to late trains etc. we were pretty exhausted. Seems our room was ready, it must be the worst room in the hotel. It has almost non existent window coverings so a quick nap is out of the question. If we decide to have a room service meal this evening there is only chair and the half bottle of Chianti not Classico obviously but Chianti gold!! Is €20!!! You have to be joking. Only decent thing about this joint is the proximity to the railway station and that we are using American Express points!! I’m not sure what all the bean bags (five!) around the edge of the room are but only explanation is that they are positioned so as not to bang your head on the sloping roof. Either that or we are expecting to lounge around!! Tv wasn’t working although a nice man did come and tune it in. I was really looking forward to a night in lovely accommodation for our last night in Italy. What a huge disappointment. Restaurant was very good the only bright spot in the day.

Firstly we were appointed the wrong junior suite room which bore no resemblance to that advertised with booking.com.
When relocated the room we were given was sparsely appointed, with uncomfortable and impactable designer furniture.
The Reception was again sparse and uncomfortable.
The Spa pool is small and we had to book a time slot to use it which did not suite our agenda so paid for something we couldn't use.
The restaurant had translucent PCV uncomfortable designer table chairs.
Everywhere is hard surfaces, modern design, unwelcoming décor throughout the hotel. A a result it felt like staying in a sanitized asylum.
The room was so sparse we couldn't wait to leave the room.
The best part of our stay was checking out of the Hotel to depart for home, never to return again.
Artificial, sanitized, plastic, unwelcoming dysfunctional misery.
Ask yourselves what you look for in a Hotel. You wont find it here!

Dear Mr. Timlospencer, Firstly, thank you for taking the time for sharing your experience. We are sorry that your room fell short of expectations on this occasion, as well as all other facilities. We aim to surprise our guests with unique designs and a cozy atmosphere, and we regret reading you weren't wowed by our style. We would like to emphasize, that also the first room we assigned you was a junior suite as per your reservation, and when you pointed out that you did not like it, we proceeded to move it to the one you showed us on our website. We did so right after you reported the dissatisfaction, gifting also a sparkling wine for the room change. We regret seeing that this was not enough for you to appreciate our facilities. Furthermore, we understand how our design, surfaces, and furniture may not meet the taste of all our guests, but this can be easily seen at the time of booking by scrolling through our gallery and avoiding properties whose features you do not appreciate. We thank you anyway for your visit, and do not hesitate to contact us any time for any further assistance you may need. Sincerely, Edoardo Leonardi Room Division Manager Palazzo Montemartini Rome, A Radisson Collection Hotel

I am way late in responding. I didn't get the notification. But for others that may want to know...the breakfast is Continental but vast. Meats/Cheeses/Breads/Pastry/Cereal/Fresh Juice and a few hot items. It is nice. I don't recall the check in time. I want to say 3:00 PM.
