Hotel was within easy reach from MANZONI station (5' walk) or TERMINI station (20' slow pace walk). Great terrace and very friendly staff. Room was clean and so was the bathroom. room size is small but more than enough for a couple. If ever back in Rome will choose Hotel 900 again.

We stayed in hotel Novecento in the end of September . We had a triple room , which was very clean and cosy. Very big plus is that this hotel is located on a very calm street, so you can be sure to sleep very good. Of course, beds are not the best, but it's not a 5 stars hotel...

The hotel has a great location - tube is literally round the corner, Colloseum is approx 15 minutes walk away. Room is nice and clean, housekeepers clean it every day. One thing that was missing was "do not disturb" card to put outside the door - housekeepers knocked the door quite early in the morning while we were still sleeping....

Such lovely staff and atmosphere at this hotel, which is just a 10 minute walk from the Colloseum and Termini station in the other direction (with plenty of shops and restaurants on the way). We stayed in room 201 which had everything we need, but was very very small. This didn't really matter to us, because we only used the...

The hotel is easy to find near the metro station Manzoni. The check in process was fast, the staff were lovely and very helpful. The room is small but practical and kept well. The roof is lovely at sunset time. The breakfast was basic but good.

The room and the hotel was clean and smelled nice, room tidied daily, clean towels etc, working wifi and air conditoner, fridge in a...

Hotel is in a great location, very close by to the termini (main train station) and few mins walk to he nearest metro Line A. Hotel States 3 star but i would rate it a 2 star. Its very small not much amenities, staff are friendly. Room is very cosy, toilets felt cramp. Breakfast buffet was very limited. Only few...

Stayed at the Novecento hotel early August 2016. We booked the hotel based on a recommendation from a friend we trusted. Checked the website and liked the photos we saw. Price was not bad either, so when we tried to book we were only offered one option for a Double room. Upon arriving there, we were greeted at the Reception...

I ll start with a positive note. The hotel is in a quiet area near the Palatine Hill which makes is an ideal stay for those that want to be within walking distance from the most important roman monuments. Its also suitable for those that don't want to spend a fortune on hotel accommodation and are looking for a clean...

This isn't a 5 star hotel. If you want luxury, go elsewhere and pay for it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was small, but functional, as was en suite. Breakfast a bit limited, but as it is a small budget hotel, can't grumble. Could do with a little ongoing maintenance, hot drink facility in room.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
