it didn't feel like a 4 star hotel, how ever the traditional style was lovely.it was the cheapest 4 star hotel we could find. and the breakfast reflected this, not been fresh.but the location is was excellent. very good a coffee around the corner were we often ate dinner.

The hotel is situated near the central station (Termini) and connected in 15 minutes by bus or metro to the city center. The hotel is clean and the staff is really nice and helpful, special thanks to Mr Giampiero for the many good suggestions.

Hotel Champagne Garden doesn't possess any garden to speak of but is ideally located not far from Rome's historic center, Main Train Station and Airport Bus Shuttle around the corner. Unpretentious and practical. The service is friendly, a buffet breakfast included and the room put in impeccable shape every day. Unfortunately, my room didn't get Internet connection.

The hotel is rather two star establishment not a 4-star hotel. The furniture is worn and very old. The rooms are not very clean. The walls are damaged and look dirty. Only clean things are sheets on bed. The bathrooms are cleaned but it seems that they were never cared for being profoundly scrubbed. The location is fine but rooms...

Didn't feel like a 4 star hotel, but it was the cheapest 4 star we could find. Its location is great bang in the middle of town walking distance to Termini and not too far from a lot of the sites. We found the staff really friendly & helpful. The building is beautiful but in need of some TLC particularly...

Walking distance from Termini Station the main transportation hub in Rome and a significant concentration of stores. The building and interior are very beautiful, however the maintenance was lacking. The minibar was broken and when we asked about it at the front desk, they were already aware of the problem, however it was only replaced after we complained. The TV...

didn't end up staying here because my things were stolen from me. i'm pretty sure the staff had something to do with it, for they refused to show me the hotel footage of where my bags/luggage were stolen. IT WAS IN THE LOBBY AS WELL. Never coming back.

Hotel in a good location if you want to stay close to Termini (not a good area, but convenient). The star rating is quite generous, the hotel has seen better days. Personnel was correct and professional. The room was just ok, a bit on the depressing side. Wi-fi worked well. Furniture was worn, especially the doors (entrance as well as...

I stayed here for 3 days, the hotel is clean and staff are helpful, the hotel rooms are dated but I understand this is typical for Rome. All shower and bathroom fully working and clean linen/towels. Free wifi also in the hotel which is useful although its not super fast. People have left very negative reviews which can be off...

This so called 4stars hotell, was not as expected. Broken toilett, small, dirty bathroom. Overall, a bad experience. The staff had even been in our room when we weren't there (they had moved a chair, plugged in the Tv etc. This was after they cleaned the room) The free wifi didn't work in the hotel rooms..

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
