A cheap hotel so you very much get what you pay for and the room they first showed me was a very basic single room right at the top of the hotel. I would have accepted, trouble was the drain in en-suite stank which i think is unacceptable at any price. The woman behind the desk thought having paid for...

Close to the main station for getting connections. Quiet and had a bathroom. The internet didn't work while we were there. The morning buffet was nice and plentiful. Staff were nice. The place was clean and friendly.

The hotel is located in a quite area just within a few short minutes walk from the central train station. We arrived late in to Rome and was welcomed by a friendly and helpful gentleman at reception. The room was clean and comfortable which is ideal for a short stay in the city. The only flaw we had with our...

The hotel look ok at first, but the room smells horrible, javex (itchy eyes, n'ose and throath.) but it's clean ...and smells deep Fried chicken, because the fan of the restaurant is close to the room, so it stincks, plus we have a direct view to the trash and the constant noise of dishes from the restaurant.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
