The location was great - 5 min walk to the Collosseum (and metro), 10 min stroll to Termini, minimarkets arround. There was an entresol in the apartment , so we had some privacy from our children - we slept above. The kitchenette was equipped not bad (but there was no skillet at all). This has surely been the worst budget accommodation we stayed in. The people were unfriendly and only understood english when they wanted to. They put us in a basement room which was very dark. We found it to be very clean - bed was made when we came back and wet towels had been changed. Breakfast not included but in Italy breakfast is a brioche and...

Three of us recently stayed for a long weekend at the Dream Guest House in Rome, Italy. It's definitely a one-star establishment, but its clean and the owner and his wife are very friendly. We got a triple room, which had one double bed, three single beds, and a private bath and terrace. The location is what makes this place...
