Neighbourhood
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.

I payed way to much for this hotel - more than 130 Euros for a weekend and it was not worth it. On my reservation and the booking form it stated that the room was 17m2, but it was more like 10 m2 plus a...More

Beautiful old building and beautiful remodeled suites and rooms. Personally I recommend this because of the location in beautiful Trastevere. More typical of town. Cobblestone alleys beautiful buildings endless eating choices a few steps away. Hopefully they will work on the WiFi and water heater...More

Horrible staff. They delay, say they don’t speak English, say wait for my colleague and then a couple of hours later colleague says it can’t possibly be fixed. My daughter had the exact same experience - see her photos with... More

No, unfortunately not- this might be quite difficult if you have a large suitcase or if your suitcase is heavy. There is no porter!
