The hotel staff and rooms were good. The 53 steps made it difficult to access. The lift was very small and you had to climb a number of steps to reach it. Not a hotel for the aged or infirm, however this was not mentioned on the site before booking. The Bassilica Santa Maria Magiorre is a couple of blocks...

We stayed one night in Rome and this hotel was very close to Termini statio and therefore easy to get the train to the airport the next day. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Hotel is well serviced and breakfast is nice.

We stayed 4 nights and they looked after us well. The room was clean and what you would expect. Any question we had they were happy to assist. The breakfast was very good and our kids were very satisfied. We checked out very early the last day and they assisted us with a breaky pack, wake up call and arranging...

For the hotel price, everything was great for us. Breakfast was great. Few drinks and food to choose from (don't expect a 5 star meal but for the price it is good). We were happy with the location and the service from Sergio (he attended to us during our stay).

Very near to Roma termini and collesium, very clean and well decorated room, helpful and smiling staff, a good breakfast in a very cosy little room. So according to its price, I advise Hotel Teti to every Rome visitor.

The hotel is easily locatable and is near the main Roma Termini station. The hotel makes your stay easy and peaceful. The staff is wonderful. Really helpful and professional. The room is good with all the basic requirements. Also, there are good restaurants and market nearby. One can go anywhere by metro and main railway station from Roma termini. Recommended.

We spent 3 nights here at the beginning of June and were pleasantly surprised with our stay! The hotel is located within 5 minutes of Termini station which was a perfect location! It was easy to get to and from the airport from Termini so location is perfect if you don't want to be carrying too many cases around Rome!...

This is a small, 2nd floor hotel, close to the Termini railway station and within reasonable walking distance to all the main sites and attractions. Reception is manned 24/7 and staff are friendly & helpful. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. Although it was small it certainly wasn't a shoe box and the air con (which we paid €5...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
